Our Pastor grew up in a Reform background, and thus once in a while we use his songs (especially for the Holiday's [we use your version of the Shehechianu]). I came from an Orthodox background and thus was unaware of a musical rendition of certain liturgical pieces. I must say, Dan hashem has blessed you. By the way this is one of my favourites in the Siddur, as well as when we sing it in Church at a Shabbat service (we even sung this song at a Pentecostal church and they loved it).

i saw him first at camp harlam in 05 saw him again at kutz in 07 and 08 and last year he came to my temple to lead a service, which i led with him, he remembered my name when he saw me he is such a nice and outgoing person.

Dan came to my summer camp three years in a row. I didn't see him for the full year, but each time he remembered me. Then this last year I jammed with him, me on drums. It was so much fun. I love that guy.

one of the girls from my temple in FL was working at kutz as avodah staff and she went to eisner before the session started to train on bolaying people on the tower.

i'm missing it too... :/

we did. there were some girls from russia/ukraine that worked as kitchen staff that i believe weren't jewish. and then there was israeli staff that worked as security, but they definitely were jewish.

this summer was actually my last year as a camper. at kutz, the summer before your senior year is your last summer to be a participant. i'll be 18 in october.

hopefully i'll be able to be a songleader there in the future. :)
