wat is spec about the sound in l4d2? nuttin. mw2 had some nice sound display. it felt dam real. uncharted was good for graphics and epic scenes not sound. borderlands wasnt a sound hit on me but was hell alot of fun. now brutal legend. it had some great music and the sound effects were top notch too. it made me feal alive and in the world of metal. it is a tough decison between brutal legend and mw2.... i would luv to vote for brutal legend but i hav to go with mw2. im sry tim shcaffer

Modern Warfare 2 all the way. All the weapon sounds are very authentic you can hear all the chaos as if you were there and you have to listen for footsteps. When you have to listen for footsteps to stay alive you know the sound is amazing.

very true. But L4D2 also needs this, you have to hear the horde and especially the special infected or you'll be tied up by a smoker when your teams gone.

right, but that was intended. If you COULDN'T hear them, it would be way too hard, because you'd be constantly walking around corners into boomers and spitters all the time. MW2 just has such ridiculously good sound design that people eventually figured out that you could hear people's footsteps and tell when someone was coming in multiplayer.

that was also intended. That's why there's perks to make footsteps quieter or so you can hear them better. Also why they clank when walking up stairs to a sniper spot.
