  • That instrumental section is incredible!

This album is in a very close race with The Human Equation. I think they both can be considered the best albums ever made.

  • Ayreon, friggin awesome band :D

also check , guilt machine, ambeon, star one,... they are also projects of arjen lucassen and its eargasmic ;D

  • als ik dood ga , wil ik deze plaat op mn begrafenis,uh misschien crematie

  • When I first heard this song, i was like 'Ok....'

Then the 'evil devolution piece started at 1:35, and i was totally taken aback. Somehow the instrumentation and the voice fit perfectly!

  • Everything having to do with the vocals here is brilliant: the melody, the voice, the lyrics, the pronunciation... Wow!

  • wait a minute, is the futureman watching how the "forevers" lost their feelings? because i don't think he is watching the future of human race, since we all know what happens at the end of 01011001 album

  • @richtier i think so, just like in the final experiment in computer reign was about the forever i think as well.

  • @PudoozaTheConquer No, he was seeing what would eventually happen to Humanity.

Remember, the Forever were basically human before they evolved into a digital perfection.

The Sixth Extinction is a result of history coming full circle on Humanity, I think.

  • Beautiful voice, Edward Reekers wow! Prachtig!

    3.10: Great music power.

  • bitchin

  • As i have asked...many times...a project with 7 albums?

  • @Datharion

    did you see a problem?

    the things evolved

    its constant dev

i like it as a project

  • 4:30 to 5:15 would be some kind of Achilles Last Stand mixed up with Thick as a Brick... in high speed

  • Really nice artwork.

  • one thumbs up for you all!

  • i really hope Daimen Wilson will appear in the future Ayreon album :)

  • this is one kick ass fuckin band

  • Its not really a band. Its a project from Arjen Anthony Lucassen. He invites famous singer and musicians and makes albums with a certain theme. Each album has different people almost all the time. Only a few people appear on more albums. But I agree, it kicks frigging ass =)
