I'm sorry this game looks very boring compared to other beat em ups of the 16 bit generation. All he is doing is choke slam, throw, kick, punch, dive bomb, throw a batarang here and there, block, and that flash destroy everything on the screen move. The new Batman games ARE the best Batman games.

The Turtles Arcade Game and ones that I don't even remember the name of... Just side scrolling beat-em ups..... But now in this era we've got first and third person 3D games like CoD, Half-Life, Batman Arkham City...... Do you think we've reached the end..... @fyckah i hated that part. that part was TOUGH; fighting the Penguin with nothing but a bunch of batarangs. and then the duck-vehicle fight at the end, and then the actual Penguin fight at the end. those parts, for me, were the 3 most difficult ones.

It took me a long time to beat the game on the most difficult mode and when I finally did, I was truly proud seeing Batman at the end credit with the message, 'You are the Dark Knight.' (something like that)

Id have to disagree. Only the genre is the same but double dragon doesn't play similar to final fight or this batman game. Other than throwing punches or the side scrolling platform, theres really no other comparisons. Batman is a clone of final fight however.

"Batman Returns" for the SNES was easily the best Batman game ever created, in my opinion. What made it so great was that they made the level gameplay change as you progressed, the music and graphics were just wonderful to behold. Its nice to see a game based off of a movie that is actually great.....and not just mediocre or good.....but GREAT!!!! Love this game, played it last night! ^_^

When I play on "Expert" mode with other of my games on Youtube (like Final Fight 2 & 3), you can see it when I choose "options", so, if you don`t see it, it`s because I play an easy mode. they both have they're nostalgic values.genesis was the more gritty system.i love both.genesis due to the lesser colours had some what more realistic look while snes had a more cartoony look or something like that.anyhow i love both systems.great to see this classic aggain and this one tops like almost every batman game out there.
