@jisa39 yeah, I was out just a hair, so my drums + Neil's sound all muddled up like a bunch of flams. Like i said in the description - some crazy mistakes.
so at 5:42 you needed to drink your beer but since you finished it at the beginning you chugged your invisible beer and crushed the can with one mighty fist and your forehead and tossed it into the depths of your drum room, very nice sir.
@dirklerxstprof2112 I could write a few paragraphs on each one of my videos outlining all the mistakes I made in the song. They are subtle unless you are intimately familiar with all the ins and outs of the drumming, but they are there. I just comment on them because other drummers kick my ass if don't.
@Chumpmaster65 Play sounds when I hit them depending on which patch I have programmed in my roland spd-20 octopad (just visible to my far left) If you watch the recent videos of Leave that Thing Alone or Cold Fire, you can see them in action. I think I've used them in some other videos too (available light). I'm still learning all the sounds and how to best program them.
@ObltKG4 I'd say the repetitive pattern with all the fills on the hi-hat. I've got that firmly embedded in my brain to the point that I don't even think about it much when I play it, it just sort of flows out in the right order.
I lol'd at your imaginary beer drink at 5:42. Nothing like pretending you're crunching and smashing a beer can against your forehead and throwing it away. Nice job! Oh and the drumming was superb as usual! LOL
A question, Paulie: What kind of earprops/headphones do you use? When I play the drums, I need a pair of hearing protection outside the earphones to hear the music and to not get some serious hearing damages.
@Dekknavn39 I wear shure in-ear, noise-reduction ear buds - 115-CL i think?. The music is not loud in my ears and when I'm playing, I basically don't hear my drums/cumbals at all.
Amazing cover and nice set, that must have set you back a few bucks

It would be funny as heel to see a 90 year old man playing this on the drums

I wish you could balance the mix a little better. The track is a little hot. I want to hear a little more of your drums.

@Bakazuraz No man, it's 'mediocre drumming spiced up by a shitload of visuals'. I fooled you!

can't spice up mediocre drumming by putting a shitload of visuals...

What part of the song do you find yourself most in the groove?

@Pauliewanna the timing is tricky, but like most of your stuff it's aced.
Your hi-hats sound crisp. Love it!

@thunderfan77 This was quite spur of the moment as I looked over to me 'stash' and alas, the cupboard was bare, so I improvised.
