did anybody understand the main essence of this movie - gogol's overcoat what is exactly that, director could not show it well in this movie.....perhaps jumpha's novel might present a better oversight in this.

Nikolai Gogol was a famous Author who wrote a book called The Overcoat. In the movie, when the dad is reading The Overcoat in the train, it is because of the book that he is saved from the accident, Hence he believes that it is because of Gogol's 'Overcoat' that he is still alive and can supoprt his family

Anyway, Zuleikha is the least Indian looking person ever...I don't know what it is about her... Considering that so many different 'looks' could BE interpreted as Indian...she just does NOT!!

And it is not her lighter eye color or coloring...its hard to put my finger on what makes her look so UNindian especially since I think Aishwarya and Lisa Ray look Indian...maybe its her emoting...
