@claregarrity117 The woman sitting at the table on the left, her face, does have the aristocratic angularism of Tallulah for a moment. I don't know who she is.
Knowing that back then those were the good o days!
With the greatest movie stars of all times.it was glamourous.but it's over:(
And we can't return to those days anymore cause were stuck in a stupid time period right now where nothing is glamorous and no one can enjoy the good o simply life:(
Hattie McDaniel had to enter the building in the back. Also, she did not sit at the same table with the other nominees from "Gone with the Wind", even though she was one of the evening's winners. That's not so glamourous.
@jckfmsincty Not so glamorous is an understatement. Hattie McDaniel not being allowed to enter the front entrance with everyone else was just outrageous! However much to her credit, Hattie McDaniel remained classy and kept her dignity in the face of discrimination.
seeing hedy lamarr out in real life like this shows that she really was the most extraordinary beauty. doesnt even look human, and doesnt need a ton of production lighting to do it
Yeah I agree, I think 'glamour' really meant glamour back then. It isn't quite the same now. Perhaps because the golden era of the movies has long gone. As have all those wonderful stars...
@VideoSam16 Hey Sam! You're right, it is shaky. I didn't notice as I was making it ... either my eyes are going bad, or there was a problem with the upload. I decided to keep it posted even though I am not pleased with 'the shake'.

Wow, the Academy Awards are so different now, it seemed to be more of a classy affair back then...

I just don't think they do the Academy Awards now like they used back then.
Too bad about the shaky video.
When Judy started singing it took me by surprise!
