  • god that damn stick pisses me off but i cant help but think that it being broken at the end of the anime was symbolic

  • Epic.

  • I m downloading it :O

  • so godly anime *o*

  • to those who commented, well you do have good points but watch it again. There is a good time to expose children to the act. No shielding true but define how much do you want to expose. Well if we continue to talk about it, we'll just end up in circles. The only thing I have to back me up are the supporters of no violence against children. By the way, there is a huge difference between seen and expose. I only SAW meaning with my own two eyes only. Expose means you experienced it for real.

  • Best lulaby ive ever heard...

  • I watched this anime when I was about 9 yrs old back in AXN. Now as a young adult, I reflected on this anime and realized that this anime has a lot of good stuff in its sad story. Main points of this anime are the things that children must not be exposed to such as war and violence. A kid as young as Boo holding and firing a gun!? Oh hell no. A soldier raping Sala!? Please no. And I agree that seeing Hamdo die in the end satisfied me though he should have gotten more.

  • @rdxblitz

yet, u were exposed to war and violence by watching this when u were nine. I don't mean to criticize u and I'm just pointing this out lol.

Yeah, there's so much stuff here that I could write a 10-page analysis on this thing.

  • @rdxblitz Why should children be sheltered? It's much better for them to be exposed to these things when they are young and have an adult they care about to explain it and help them understand it. There's nothing worse you can do to a child than to shield them until they're on their own and they're not prepared for the world around them and have no one to help them through difficult things.

  • fucking love that image!

  • I LOVE mp3iiffy it WORKS just google mp3iiffy.

  • i didnt like how lala-ru die in the end, right after saying. "can we watch the sunset agian' or something like that

  • why are there always people who spoil the show for others. I was planning to watch this, but now I know how it ends. And now I don't feel like watching it anymore. second time in 3 days that someone spoilt an ending.

people just can't read comments anymore without reading spoilers.

  • @kairi1415

    sorry, i didnt mean to

  • @kairi1415 No, he is wrong. Watch it. Trust me. It's different from how he says, and it's a small detail in the overall story. You will still completely enjoy it. And I know how you feel. I just got done watching Code Geass R1 and went to watch the opening on youtube and sure enough i read the comments and someone spoiled the ending to R2 for me. I was so angry. So yeah, watch this anyways. It's completely worth it, and one of the greatest anime of all time.

Who are the other three? Can I hazard that Gendo Akari is one them?

  • this really is a great song, i love it.

  • does anyone know what ima, soko ni iru boku really translates to? I can only get exact literal interpretations which don't make much sense so I'd like to hear what other people understand it as.

  • This would mean something like

" Me, who is living here and now"

    or

"Now, i'm living (existing) here "

very difficult to translate the japanese feeling..

  • Ok thanks so much!

  • yup!u really should watch it!

    its really an awesome anime!!!!!!!

    I like lalaru!!

  • Such a unique feel...

Perhaps the best part about this series, is that you CANNOT compare this series to another anime!

The only bad thing about this series, is you want more!

  • EVERYONE should buy this anime!!!

Anime fan or not, you just need to own it!

  • idk if i should buy it or not...ive already watched it all at a friends house who had it =p

  • Hmmm... the reason why I say everyone should buy it, is because it truely tells a story that uses realism to express the very real emotions that come from the horrors of war...

While any anime fan should appreciate this.

Most people could not tolerate the maturity coming from this "cartoon".

Mine just came in the mail today, ordered from Amazon, $26.99, free shipping. Took only 3 business days, etc.

If you've already seen it fine, but you should pass the torch...

  • i put this in a playlist i made of my fav anime songs (mostly openings and ending) so will that work? xD

  • Ha ha ha, whatever works buddy, whatever works.

I do the exact same thing...

  • finally, i was searching for this FOREVER!!

  • me, too!!! awesome song!!!

  • yeah

  • Thank you for uploading these! Does anyone else think the person who sings this sounds JUST LIKE the english voice actor for Lala-ru?!?

  • I know right???

I prefer the dub, when it comes to Shu and Lala.

  • Lisa Ortiz and Ed Paul are amazing, near perfect in this series.

  • I know... Lisa is in a lot of stuff, but sadly ed isn't in that much stuff.

I could watch this story forever...

  • same here, I could watch it forever. As for Ed Paul, I remember him playing Bakura in Yu-Gi-Oh, and the Magicarp Salesman in Pokemon. But yeah he isn't in much sadly. AMAZING actor though. This is probally his best role.

  • I love these songs! Thank you so much!

  • Yea, I love Now and Then, Here and There. i always wanted to listen to the songs. Thank you!

  • God bless you for uploading these!!! X3
