Dredg is 1,000,000x better than anything on the radio. Also, they cannot even be compared to Tool at all, they sound nothing alike. In my personal opinion though, Dredg is so much better.

I bet you their record company told them that they need to speed it up, because in to days fast food culture people don't have the mental capacity to sit still for a minute and listen to great music. It's no longer the good ol' days of experiential music like Pink Floyd. Come on Dredg you can do it! Bring us back to that same ol' road again. If anyone can do it it'd be you guys!

Take your time and lower that bass. Maybe cut back on the drugs too. Other than that good performance. I notice he's speeding up his vocals and tunes. Originally these guys were, I thought, extremely atmospheric and had perfect timing. His voice soared. Sure he held words out longer than most artist, but who the fuck cares!? That's what made them unique!

These guys are seriously one of the best bands the U.S has to offer. Absolutely phenomenal. Lush sounds, wonderful melodies, great rhythms...and a FANTASTIC singer with true ability. Fuck American Idol, this is the REAL deal.
