damn it guys leave it alone. that volley is harder than it looks, and that hook forehand by fed to recover had so more liquid whip and nasty forespin on it. even blocking it back forward would have probably made it land long, or in the hitting range of federer. and a small tap dropshot would have pushed it wide as well. lets see you peeps in the general population, other than maybe federer, nadal and other freak tennis players out there, complete that point perfectly at that crucial moment.
I think it was funny when I saw that sign, it said come on Andy Murray, but the day before he got knocked out, so the person who wrote it crossed out the Murray and put Roddick. Whoever done that, if you're reading this please reply! I find it funny! XD
I almost feel like Roddick got robbed. But I'm still a fan of Roger. So I'm glad Roger won. I just feel so... bad... for Roddick. Just that volley... Damn... That sucks. It's better to just lose than to get so close to winning and have it slip away right before you. So much more painful... Much love to both. Go Federer!
I feel the same way. I 'm glad fed won, I'm a fed fan. But the fact that it happened in this manner... ugh! I definitely have sympathy for Andy. I wish fed could have taken this from Nadal instead.
Had Federer lost that 2nd set, he´d definitely have lost the match in 4 sets! Nothing would have been different... he was going to win the 3rd set in a tiebreak... and then to be thrashed in the 4th set...and it would have been the end...
thanks for the vid, and its true, the volley will haunt him for his entire life, no way federer would come back from 2 sets down, glad he won though hehe
Thank you Daga for posting this vid. it was wonderful to see these few points from a different angle, as in real time. Doesnt everyone out there get a little emotional to see it as "within reach"?
Great camera though.
I cant stop thinking about those seats you got. thanks for sharing
All of the videos are filmed and posted by us: Johan Kriek Tennis Academy. This year Johan played in his 30th Wimbledon. Johan Kriek, former 2 time Australian Open champion, & his doubles partner Kevin Curren won the Wimbledon senior doubles event 4 times. As a Wimbledon player and player's guest, we got the Centre Court tickets for free. I filmed about 50 videos at Wimbledon. I am posting those on our Johan Kriek Tennis Academy Facebook Group. Thank you, Daga

jeesh Roddick man, this camera view makes that volley look even more routine
He didn't even have to do that much with the volley to win that rally anyways.

We can never know what may have happened had Roddick won that 2nd set, the 3rd and 4th could have been very different.

Great video! It's nice to get a different perspective on the match, rather than just the TV camera angle.
I was so nervous watching that tiebreak though. I wanted Federer to win the match, but thought Roddick was going to lead 2 sets to 0.
