Yamashita is marvelous indeed. If he was not, one would say Corryell is an astonshing guitarist. In such uncomplimentary comparison he in fact plays nothing more than a mere "second fiddle" as we use to say in czech language.
@AlejandroFuentesGuit Well then his interpretation is really stupid? Surely it's best to first interpret the music by PLAYING it !! Missing all the notes that Vivaldi wrote down due to not having the technical ability to play it is different from interpreting the piece a different way.
Simply, he cannot play what he is attempting to play at this speed and so should not have played it. Very disappointing
This is great, Larry Coryell is surprisingly keeping up w/ Yamashita somewhat. In other videos, Coryell is way behind his speed, but this is pretty close.
lo peor de larry coryell es que pone cara de que toca bien!!!

I like the Amsterdam Guitar Trio's version of Vivaldi's Four Seasons better but this one is okay too.

i think yamashita and eliot fisk would be a better pairing to play the four seasons.

@dlgnlwls84 John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucia would be the masters for this piece !

umm I'm sorry if I've missed the point - but it's the first time I've seen these videos.
Larry misses pretty much every note you could miss in all the pieces!?? Why even bother playing this if you can't?
really stupid....

@Docaroo The point is not playing perfectly, but in his interpret.
