In certain sections of Johnstown, there are large populations of ethnic diversity and even interracial relationships. You can not judge an entire city based upon this town. I know plenty of people who live there that aren't racist.

history of Johnstown. Apparently after the big flood and WW2 the town was very active in the steel making industry. Offering the residents many high paying jobs at the steel mil creating whealth for the town. Globalization has since killed the jobs and the mil is all but abandoned exept for one guy standing watch over the facility. It was sad to me. I'm from Florida and have never seen anything like it before. I don't blame them for being angry.

I spent two days in johnstown while on assignement for my job. I drove from PIT airport there and stayed in the Holiday Inn in johnstown. I walked aroud the town after work and I was amaised at what I saw.

The town is so dead. The steel mill is a huge eyesore in the middle of town. The town is 1/5 steel mil that prabalbly hasn't been active for 20 years. I walked around it and it took me two hours. The town is very poor. I went back to my hotel room and got on the computer and read some
