LoL is a version of dota where hero's have larger HP pools compared to the damage done, making the gamplay focused alot more around the fights, allowing more skill output in the fights.

Dota itself is mainly focused around knowing when to engage the fight, and when to dodge it.

So to a beginner, Dota seems alot harder, because as soon as you dont know what to do, your f*cked.

BUT, in the end....since LoL is more micro intensive, it has a higher skillcap

@666megaslut Just because LoL offers tips doesnt mean its easy mode in the overall gameplay, its harder and more challenging to gank and be ganked. I played dota for 3 years and being an assassin lover, I just used NA and gondar like crazy. Sure it was fun to gank like that, but it was also not challenging, especially in later minutes of the game, where everything is based on who has the highest dps and people whining about not being carried.

The games r faster and with more action. In my opinion I play LoL, but I know that's complete dif from DotA and DotA 2 ll be the beast!
