If you can't watch this and understand what's going on, you aren't familiar enough with the game to get a perfect clear. If you are copying him exactly move for move you don't deserve the achievement. This is one of many possible ways to win. for those of you struggling to keep up with which unit he is upgrading, and to what level, I suggest keeping an eye on your gold balance; you can tell, at any interval, which soldier, or archer etc. he upgrades based on how much money he has at any given time

Your strategy works no problem but its incredibly painful to follow, my eyes hurt from trying to see the levels that the menu was blocking and you never paused the replay for like 2 seconds before each wave so we can see who is what level. You idiot people need to understand that these videos are of Replay Mode. In Replay Mode you cannot control how fast or how slow the upgrading is. It's all done automatically, he has no control over it.

Works perfectly on PS3 as well. Do need to slow down a tad please on the crystal placements in the later waves (15+) since it gets a bit iffy to tell when there are 5, 6 crystals in a row. Other than that I was able to get the same score and result as you did. Thank you again for posting this!!

The one thing I will say that I wish you had done, is after you do your upgrades, I wish you had left the levels showing on screen for a few seconds instead of immediately starting the stage. Reason is that when you do your upgrades, that big annoying box is always in the way (not your fault), but if you show the levels on screen for a few seconds before starting the next stage, we could see who/what was upgraded. Something to consider if you do more of these. Thanks!

Thanks for the help ccm (doens't look like anyone actually took the time to give you props; but they have time to find faults. Guys, OBVIOUSLY this is not the ONLY way to get the GS trophy. This is just a (very helpful) guide. And if you do follow it, it DOES work. Like others have said, you can mix it up a little and try different things and still be successful. This is just ONE WAY to complete the stage.

Level 30 doesn't work as shown to me either, but you can still win by doing this:

Immidiately after the first boss dies (and you get 150 gold), energize the leftmost red crystal, so that the 2 maxlevel soldiers and the archer below gets the bonus. The usually escaping boss will fall guaranteed.

I just done it now, and goodness its taken me so many days, basically this is a good GUIDE but some of the things are unnecessary, like the yellow crystal in the top right and then enlarged on wave 24. don't do it and save an extra 130. and at the end i used 1 dragoon bottom left fully upgraded is 1500+(3000) = 4500 infrequent but strong damage on those DAMN ESPERS!! Same thing in this video as with the other one, PURE LUCK at wave 30. The horse in this video runs in faster and gets owned in seconds, then the knight gets punished at the bottom, THEN the big guy has the attention on him.

I followed this like 20 times now, step by step, even had the same amount of gold, and fail at 30.

How the units come out at wave 30 is all there is too it. Guide is good, but beating 30 is based on luck.
