Nice flying! How long do you charge the battery for? How do you know it is fully charged. As I recall the ac adapter doesn't have a light...

I took out the factory motor and battery. I run it on a lipo now and it takes under an hr to charge

you paid 80 bucks at harbor freight, how much did you spend on the upgrades? you could have got one from nitro-planes which is in my opinion a much better plane

One in our group has the one from nitro-planes. The plane from nitroplanes is built out of a softer foam and not as durable. I had the upgrades laying around from another plane so I dont really know how much the upgrades were.

I have not tried mine yet. $99 list at HF. $84 on sale AND 20% discount I got mine for $67. Great for learning newbies like me. I am practicing on Real Flight G5 first before I wreck it. (My room mates $200 G5 sim that is! LOL)

will you stop taking off on the side. it'll whack that snow clump. but nice flying tho. i rarely see someone who takes off and land on the same spot

LOL. The motor I have in there has a lot of torque and I wasn't compensating enough with right rudder on take off, so that snow clump did get a little close a couple times. Very little wind that day, so I was taking off going away from me and landing back towards me.

We have a total of 3 of these in our group and we have had everything even up to a Grayson Super MegaJet V2 Brushless motor with a 2100 25C 11.1v lipo battery. The bigger the better if you want it to scream. That 400 is smaller than the ones we have in any of ours.

I have a 400 eflite brushless in a mini Funtana. Would it be too heavy for this plane? What battery did you replace the stock battery with?

Nope, I got this one from Harbor Freight. Theirs is different I believe. I paid 80 bucks for this one.
