  • Man, when I heard Welcome Home start I really wanted this show to be awesome. But it just... ugh.

  • i love the idea and the music but the way the show was performed was pretty weak and dirty in the drumline

  • and of course the guitarist has loooonnnggg ass hair lol

  • i was gonna ask why is there a choheed and cambria logo on floor now it makes all sence this a really song btw

  • Then again, this is Class A. It's not like this was Independent World, like you folks seem to be treating this. The show isn't made to be like "OHGAWDIT'SRCCORRHYTHMX." So quit acting like WGI judges and get your heads out of your asses. Kthxbai. :3

  • COHEEEED!!!!!!

  • dddiiirrrtttyyy

  • the real song is boss

  • The pit, I think, is the reason they did well. The battery seemed to be very dirty.

  • Oh, and dirty as fuck.

I mean, seriously? You guys couldn't clean it up anymore than this? Oh well. There's always next year.

  • This show could have been written so much better. Where it's 'good' now, it could have been amazing. I can't wait my schools show this year.

  • cool music... but dirty D8 otherwise it woulda been pretty awesome.... and maybe some more hard battery parts.... but yeah i love this song and it coulda been better

  • seriously.. i know some middle schools that have cleaner doubles then these ppl

  • i bet you do

  • This was one of the largest pieces of garbage my ears have ever heard. I didn't hear one clean beat. Drumline absolutely blew out the rear. I honestly don't know what else to say because you guys didn't even play an elementary drum book remotely together...

So good job, and better luck next year. HA

  • Not gonna lie, the battery music bored me to death. The snare solo was just a couple of rolls and backsticking. And a lot of it wasn't even clean. The front ensemble is SICK though.

  • ahhh i was thinking "no way in hell these guys can compete in world class!" but seeing how its scholastic A they seem to fare ok. they have lots of flash but its all hype if the music isnt that good. they pulled the show off alright

  • it was ok...

  • Obviously they didn't "suck" that bad if they were awarded 5th out of 18 drum lines.

  • @lizisawesomeduh really. Screw you they worked hard. Its not about the difficulty level its about the heart. maybe you need to learn that.

  • love the song! have it on my ipod! a little bit too easy tho....

  • I'm a Sartell Drumliner...so...yeah it was good...lol

  • the show is okay.

but, the music seems to be a bit too easy.

and it would have been better if the guitar, bass, and drum set were not involved.

    other than that good job.

  • umm...a rock song as a show.....:(, doesnt rlly impress me, but coheed and cambria is a good band, but i think ull do better if u actually perform a show!!!!!!!!

  • Some wrong note on marimba, some bad marching technique, bassline absolutely sucked at 2:00-2:20... other than that, I enjoyed it :D

  • wow! love it. My school is going to compete in winter drumline for the first time ever, so I youtubed it to check it out. Love the song.

  • Same reason I youtubed it =D

  • same. lol

  • the marching and coreougraphy was suburb but im not to fond of the accual music that was being played, i think it was porly writen, it sounded like a metal band with some drumline accompanyment

  • nice guitar solo! i love this song!

  • taurine shut up i doubt u could even march in time let alone play an amazing show and song

    ~~GRATZ HERD DRUMLINE 5/5

  • wow, 2 of my favorite things, drumline and coheed and cambria, awesome show, i thought it was good, except i didnt like the actual tone of the tenors and basses, but idk if it was from the audio quality

  • Comment removed

  • litchfield drumline owns cough*

  • Obviously if it the stat finals it doesn't suck that much!!!!

  • it only sucked because of bad sound quality.

I saw it in person, It was REALLY good.

  • The Target Center swallowed up a lot of sound. My line certainly had problems because we had only twenty people.

In fact, it was a great show. I liked it a lot Buffalo. :)

  • haha awesome. good song choice

  • That kicks major ass !!!

  • thats some dirty playing. get it clean, or water it down

  • good idea...but executed really sloppy. guitarist had terrible tone.

  • Not to be a negative Nancy or anything, but the show didn't sound too hard and was kind of sloppy, especially in the drumline. It got better toward the end though.

  • @carnotaurhunter it doesnt matter how hard the music is. what really matters is how hard the band or in this case section, works together to make the music sound the best it can. and they did a wonderful job on this song especially with all the visuals. good job HERD winter drumline. :)

  • @carnotaurhunter yea screw you. they worked really hard. just like any other drumline. Its not about the difficulty level its about the heart and work they put into it. maybe u should learn that.

  • @77cista Well, they should have put more work into it because it's sloppy.

  • You should try to get the easy stuff clean before you try anything more difficult... counting rests, and having appropriate length silences across the line... just a few things.

  • did they win?

  • EPIC

  • i love how there is a keywork sign on there mat. thats tits.

  • fucking. awesome.

  • haha this is ridiculous

  • Oh My God I Love This Band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
