Just like with stealth for all classes in WoW against npc's there is a complex situation going on: Basically the moment you stealth the mob resets at the point where he lost track of you. Since you were standing so close to the mob he while returning to it's original path saw you in stealth. Please understand that this isseu is very hard to explain in words on youtube. To solve this problem move 1-3 yards further away from the mob (Wingclip and make some room).
@ShamaticWow The mob is still attacking me instead of pathing back. If what you said was right I would have dropped out of combat then got back in combat instantly...the mob never dropped combat and should have pathed back
The engine isn't running on magic. The server needs to think when a mob get's out of combat. This takes maby 0.3 seconds. But in those 0.3 seconds he managed to spot you in stealth therefor he was still in combat. Just like i said just run a little further and it's fixed. This bug has been in the game since the start.
