  • These things are going for 300 plus dollars right now. I really wish Walthers would start making this model again.

  • I saw several of these bridges in Chicago! Now, that is My Kind of Town! Trains everywhere!

  • Very neat bridge. I am going to buy one for my layout

  • is this hard to build, i am planning to build this for science fair

  • @jakimson1994 Assuming you have the Walther's kit and not trying to scratch build the bridge, the plastic portion of the bridge is easy, it's the gears and electrical switching that you must take your time on and get right.

  • No, it is installed on the owner's layout.

I just built it for him.

  • do you want to sell this model?

  • Heel Trunion Bascul Bridge or Strauss type:) I want to write my master's thesis about movable bridges but here in Poland we have only a few exaples of such movable structures :/

  • Sweet!

I bet you could disguise the motor noise with a sound decoder placed inside.

  • Thats freakin awsome. 5/5!

  • I have that kit, altho I run mine off a 6V lantern battery. Less wear on the gears. :)

  • thats wat i call lighting fast

  • must of been a pain to build. when this kit was realesed the loco shop got 1 in, it is still there.

  • This is a Walther's H.O. Scale bridge.
