Doesn't need it, just nice to hit it and slow them down, but still have a bit of power on , in the landing to keep the surfaces working. Kinda a pro trick
Thanks a lot Eric, next year we are going to bring some 60size warbirds and do some formation passes there, and I'll probably bring a scale Bell222 heli if I ever put it back together. Thanks for watching and the great comments!
You caught that eh, cool. I'll do that with a big bipe myself when I get one large enough. Just flicks the channel switch and the upper aerilons go up, and lower go down. It's actually Jack Price's bipe, but a Quique model and Jack has him fly it when Quique comes to fly for them. Thanks for watching, and check out the video response. There is some great planes in the rest of the show too, including one huge great P47 at the end of that clip.
You're like brothers! lol My brother crashed my first plane, a control line when I was about 8, does that count too? I hadn't flown rc till 2 years ago. Always flew sims on the computer but not rc sims, flew from inside the cockpit. Now I'm fully addicted, took the day off tomorrow to go flyin! thanks for watching!
Man that was the business,i think that was the bloke i taught how to fly LOL,good one mate and when do we see some of you and norm and the rest of the boys flying?5*
Ya I gave him a few pointers while I was there too...lol We'll be out flying hopefully this weekend. All these events have cut back on my flying time. We're actually organizing a scale event for about a month from now. Seeing how many models we can get people to bring out. It's our first crack at an event so we'll see what happens.
Thanks man, The bi-plane is actually owned by Jack Price one of the club exec's and he just let Quique fly it for the show. The flat spins are what amazed me
What a Master,,, The first time I saw he fly, TOC 1970 something, I could not
believe my eyes... I was just blown away... Great pilot...

Look closely at landing: he's using crow brakes on that. guess he needs it. better than having to stop the engine!

That was a great show. The biplane flight by Quique was impressive. I have the byp yak based on his design and it is one of my favorite planes.
Thanks for sharing this guy. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks man, first time I seen Quique fly in person, very cool!

I love the way he's got the ailerons set up in a kind of crow arrangement on that bipe so as to act like air-brakes. Cool!
