  • programs like this promote critical thinking and grass roots actioin. Can't have that if u wanna control the masses . Exchange for biber nd hannah montana

  • What happened to good wholesome shows like this? I miss the 90s

  • At 3:45 is the badge Officer Cole showing an NYPD badge?

  • I must say i had the biggest crush on alex and when that little kiss with tina happend i wanted to kill her! Lmao. now i see it a cute childish kiss

  • @6:07 The Ghostwriter Team: Caught you Mr. Miller!

  • Love this part: @3:42 - 4:03

Officer Cole: John Miller, I have a warrant for your arrest under Section 27-14 of the Environmental Conservation Law. A Class C felony. Reckless endangerment of the public health, safety, or environment.

John Miller: You can't prove anything!

Officer Cole: We have more than enough proof. Including a videotape of you destroying evidence and records from the owner of the French Garment Cleaners.

  • Rob would've got cursed out for throwing markers everywhere like it's his room or something lol.

  • LOL she better put some cuffs on him. The way she just had him by one arm with one hand he could have easily broke away LOL unless there was cops waitin outside in that case

  • Nice way to treat someone else's markers Rob!

  • Officer Cole is hot! :-)

  • I knew I saw the lady who paid the reporter before. She played the co-worker of Dennis the Menaces mother in the movie version of Dennis the Menace.

  • The woman who have a black bag is so hot !!

  • *correction* These kids are DEFINITELY going to heaven. Or their respected religion/ethnicity's place of equivalence.

  • @trippyboi91 its fiction, take it easy

  • These kids are DEFINATELY going to heaven.

  • @2Crazy4YouBBY I thought I was the only one that wrote to him waiting for a response, lol.

  • I love that the reoccurring theme music for this plot line is Lenni's song that she was writing in the first episode!

  • The sign in Spanish says: All our hard word is destroyed!

  • Fannie Mae looks like Hillary Clinton - slimmer - from far away

  • "It's Time For A Change" is Lenni's best song. I think she was working on it when GW first appeared to her.

  • now if bp have done the same with the oil spil in the gulf

  • 1:33 What the hell is darth sidious doing back there???

  • Mr. Miller wishes he could say "I would've have gotten away with it hadn't been for you meddling kids"

Since the receipts show it was hauled in 1988, it sat buried their for 5 years until the kids discovered in the garden

  • @davinp i thought of that scooby line, too!

  • lmao i love when rob is sorting through which pen to use haha "umm not this one" *toss*

  • lol, if lenni were there, he wouldn't be jerking around like that, but I don't think she'd call him on it if he did, 'cause I think they have something going on in the background, lol but that is a dick move: throwing wriying untensils around in someone else's house when you don't even invite people to yours! thaaat's ROB! lol

  • Haha yup that's rob for you! But despite it all he was a good character ... you know the show hit rock bottom when they ditched his character. After he left everyone started to vanish.

  • oh I totally agree, Hectors one-liners sucked horribly!!! Robs character had depth. I wonder what the backstory was for Rob leaving, maybe he was too cool for brooklyn! lol

  • Something about him doing a kool-aid commercial without tell the producers of ghostwriter ... thus breaching his contract ... and then his people took the ghostwriter people to court and vice versa he lost and thus was fired After he left they tried to fill his character but they just ended up with so many random people joining and leaving the team that it ruined it. I think 4 people could see ghostwriter and were part of the team, then you never saw them again. Too bad really it was a good show

  • damn, that's stupid when they sacrifice the integrity of the show of technical bs, I do remember seeing Lenni in a cereal commercial, but i guess that was within the contractual agreements... I remember seeing it originally on PBS I would've never thought that they of all people would be such sticklers, oh well, and thanks for the background on that... do you know anything on the abrupt disapearance of the original new guy from Salute Your Shorts? i know the had an episode explaining it, but...

  • It wasn't that he was in an ad. It was more he didn't tell PBS and get permission ... Which Lenni must have done. But I agree it's really stupid. Plus it probably wasn't even his fault. There would have been someone who was like hey do this ad and his caregiver/agent probably agreed without getting clearance or something. As for the other guy who do you mean? Was his like this really tall guy (compared to the others) with blonde floppy hair?

  • the blonde... uhm thick-haired kid... always hung out with sponge(the "geek") sorry dont remember all the names,

  • Do you know why the original Gabby left the show?

  • yeah i dont think that was it but i do know why spriitedsunny got it so um guess again

  • lol i kept watching that part too it hilarious

  • Officer Cole is so hot, I'd enjoy getting arrested by her.

    ;)

  • Okay then. Thanks for your help.

  • The call letters on Fannie Mae Banner's microphone are WWGW. I see what they did there.

By the way, can anybody translate the Spanish phrases on the signs?

  • You know how there's always so much talk about how horrible kids are these days? Hopefully there are a lot of do-gooder kids like the Ghostwriter crew and we just haven't been hearing about them as much is all. I'd like to think that those kinds totally outnumber the bad ones.

  • "put your money where your mouth is, miller!!!!". that sounds soooo funny :)

  • I agree with you that does sound funny.

  • Officer Cole & Fannie Mae Banner are both hot!

  • How did the crowd go from a crowd of cheering John Miller fans to a mob of sign wielding John Miller protesters?

  • they found out something they probably didn't know about him.

  • yeah but they all mysteriously ended up holding up signs against him when they had initially been there to cherr him on. that's definitely weird =/ but oh well. this was still a great show.

  • It would've also been cool if they included the facts about toxic waste, and what to do to help the problem. But in case anybody is wondering, you can ask me, because where I work, we use a lot of necessary prevention tactics.

  • it would have been funny if they said "caught you, mother F*cker!" JK! I guess not.

  • not on a PBS show

  • i was joking. let it go.

  • Comment removed

  • that would have been hilarious!

  • what an excellent season finale!

  • I love Lenni's rap about needing a change regarding pollution... Especially as they waste tonnes of paper for every case they have, and encourage children at home to do the same. I hope it gets recycled, at least!

  • HAHAHAHAHA: "may way for fannie may!"

  • Caught you MR. Fucker(Miller)

  • Wish more problems were solved like this one, I don't mean public embarrassment, but just solved. There are just to many problems in this world.

"Caught you Mr. Miller." Love to say that to all the other crooks in the world who cause as much trouble as he did.

  • When I was younger I remember chanting "Barrels out now!!!" when watching this episode.

    I'm a dork.

(I also wore a Ghostwriter pen around my neck.)

  • Nor you're not, that's what's so cool about this show, it gets kids into what's going on, and shows them how to fix problemslike these...unlike a lot of the shows on TV today.

  • Exactly!

  • I wore a pen, too :).

  • miller got owned!!!

  • LOL at Sally "Put your money where your mouth is Miller!" with that British Accent "Milla"

  • I know, it just doesn't work as well if you don't use the British accent.

  • Excellent point boci122

  • "Seniors oppose toxic waste."

way to rattle the cages guys!

  • Officer Cole is so pretty.

  • true!

  • Barrels out now!!!!!

  • Rob is throwing markers. LOL

  • SENIORS OPPOSE TOXIC WASTE!!!

    LOL

  • Mr. Miller's point is a valid one. The community gardeners should have had the land checked before they started growing FOOD FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.

  • Even if it wasn't a garden, he should've considered the neighbourhoods around the area which he dumped the perc. It's like the case that Erin Brockavich was famous for over tainted water. It was a disaster about to happen.

  • Excellent point simonizer888

  • regardless, dumping toxic waste anywhere where it can contaminate the land and/or groundwater is ILLEGIAL...it doesn't make it better because he wasn't AWARE that it would turn into a garden later. That's like pouring chemicals into a lake where no one lives because you think that no one will come to drink the water...

  • you are right about the fact that they should have checked the soil, but either way the Perc could have still potentially been very harmful even if the garden had never been created.

  • "It wasn't even a garden, when I dumped those barrels". haha, funny.

  • he has a point lol

  • I don't thinks it's alright to dump toxic waste anywhere you please.

Would it be cool with you, if I were to go to the sidewalk in front of the walkway to your house, and take a massive poop?

The reason why I found the " it wasn't a garden" statement funny is, he confessed so readily.

  • chill

  • that's a cool beat lenni rappin over.

  • I'm from Canada bye the way, and this feels like the Conrad Black scandal.

  • According to US environmental law...

Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (1976): Seeks to prevent the creation of toxic waste dumps by setting standards for the management of hazardous waste. Like CERCLA, this law also includes some provisions for cleanup of existing contaminated sites.

  • 1:34 wow is that how sally gets people to do thing..flashing some leg..lol

  • *things

  • this is so exciting!

    thanks a lot!

  • Lenni did her thing this song

  • This was my favorite episode, too. Man vs. man, Environment vs. Man, and most of all, man vs. himself. I LOVE IT!!!

  • Wow this is the first time Lt. McQuade didnt make the arrest.

  • Well, this is an EPA specialty crime, so it made sense that they make the arrest.

  • Yea I know. We were just all used to him being the one that arrested the people it was strange seeing someone else. But earlier in the episode they did mention calling him.

  • Can you upload the one about Lenni's music video next? That was always my favorite. =D

  • "Don't Stop the Music" is in iamghostwriter2's repertoire.

  • THis was great...thank you!!!!

  • Oh amazing, so many memories. thanks again!

  • I know isn't this soooooo nostalgic ALEsNoTHERE?

  • Mr. Miller is the "high talker" from Seinfeld, right?

  • yea

  • yea dan lol

  • Oh gosh, I knew he looked familiar..!

  • Thank you so much!!

    This is my favorite episode!!

All of these episodes bring back so many memories!
