I have the GF Tassajara, i'd like to see how this handles on tougher trails, good vid but doesnt really show the bike off that well since these are kinda weak trails. I live in Austin and like the rocky stuff, gj though bro 5 stars
Hey people, I've been looking at getting the 1.5 in series 1 road bikes (the red and white racer) and I wondered if anybody has got one. What's it like to ride? Cheers for any comments!
They had to special order this bike because only the one with disc's was available in the store. I went for the Magura's because disc's make a lot of freaking noise when they are all dirty and shit and I just can't stand that sort of crap noise ;P Also, disc's seem to become freaking hot when you downhill and causing all kind of problems.
Nice work on mounting your camera to your bike. I've wanted to make a timelapse video like that with my stills camera but could never get the thing on securely.
Good choice with Goldfrapp too - a truly relaxing combination of music and video.
nice bike i just got the 2007 disc version and its awsome really light and manouverable and the black chrome finish looks evil....in a stealth bomber good way!!!!
Whoa felt like I was going for a ride myself watching this! hehehe nice ride. I have a mountain bike too, its white and pink ahahhahah, but u have a better one! I love the music! thanx for taking us on a ride through the forrest! =D
You would love it here in NORTHERN California U.S.A. Its the "Mecca" of Mountain Biking...
Specialized is made here...and wonderful Bycycle friendly towns and trails...Ill have to post some "Footage of mt area...lol Sure is nice there....looks like fun
Can't have it all, lol. I'm glad with the hills etc here as it's like the only place in The Netherlands besides Limburg but that is like 2 hours driving ;P
ik woon in belgie in wilrijk weet niet of je dit kent maar mijn vraag is waar je hier rijd want ik ga binnenkort waarschijnlijk de disc versie van die fiets kopen ?
I'll send you some info through mail about the location.
I mounted the cam with just a "sjorband" that I allways have a few in my car. First covered the cam into bubble plastic, then tied it to the bike and cut out space for the lens etc :)
I was nervous in the beginning because you got so damn close to the trees. Reminded me of the scene from Return of the Jedi when they were flying through the forest.
Nice bike! looks like you've got great shock absorbtion on that thing! Very peaceful video. Miles of forest Wow! ..those bike/scooters came out of nowhere, LOL!!
Shock absortion is nice, as long as it's suited for your weight. Some of those things are total crap and take away energy while you climb up a hill etc.
Those "brommers" as we call them didn't came out of nowhere for me as I had to stop for them b4 crossing the road. But of course with the fixed cam for you as a viewer they did came out of nowhere ;P
The bike rocks, its a very nice one to start with.
I did complain about going uphill but I actually kinda like the constant changes of the area I'm in. It works great training wise and going down full speed is just a very nice present for the "pain suffering" while going up ;P
just think what that is like at night with a lupine light like the betty. awsome. wer was the video done ?
