Cisco, you're totally right. I never brake boost during races, so big engine guys always get the initial jump...by the top of 4th, I usually have no problem catching up and leaving them. This is on low boost mind you, 20psi / e85. New fuel setup is going in shortly, with 29psi / e85 / etc.
@Cisco121490 ok if you see closely on this video their is a blue gto running with the srt to. this gto run 11.8 @ 115. all motor and 11.1 @ 124 with nitrous in phoenix. this video was made in tucson so with trap high numbers
a car running 11.8 in phoenix will run most likely 12.3 in tucson i'am not trying to convince you I care less go to this youtube name and look what the gto is running and tell me if that car is stock . justa4banger2008

also, thats not a stock evo.. that evo has trapped 125mph a while back... so stfu
@justa4banger2008 if the evo trapped at 125 a while back, it shouldnt get pulled like that from a corvette that traps at 113... a 10mph difference is big. i dont think just wheather and elevation can effect it by that much. its simple physics and something is not adding up right. unless there were some mods added after the quarter mile run of the corvette or corvette was running nitrous, but what your mentioning, that evo should have walked the z06.
@justa4banger2008 i drive a 240sx with a sr20det. just has higher compression cp pistons, arp head studs, stage 3 clutch, and cometic headgasket. everything else is stock. just ready for a bigger turbo and injectors. im still running on the stock t25 turbo and cams atm. just hoping to hit the 11 second mark.

@lowrider121990 it just doesnt work that way. trap time tells you alot of what the car is capable of. it tells you what time its supposed to be running at the quarter mile even you have a bad launch/start. read on other forums and talk to a couple of track people and they will tell you; a 120 car will not beat a 135 car from a roll. you just can't possibly defy physics.
@Cisco121490 I race for a living believe me I know about racing....a Vette is a much different car on the street. If it spins long enough on the launch, YES it is going to run a slower trap.

Yup, that's my orange srt4...that race against vette/gto I was at 3k, turbo lag ftl! by time I was spooled, top of 4th, I was already next to vette :)

a 450 hp neon is definately quicker than a 113 car(the zo6). the evo and srt4 in this vid are clearly stock or close to stock. nice try though.
