he never dies, it was just a vison that Shion (the blonde girl in the movie) had. She could see visions of a person's death. In the end, Naruto changes his destiny and he doesn't die, then he beats the bad guy with Shion's help. Seriously the movie's been out for almost two years English subbed. Download it or google it and you'll see what happened.
