The pigs in St. Aug are bad news. At one point they had an undercover drug sting going to catch small timers selling weed. They rented a greyhound bus, put on wigs and pretended to be Johnny Cash's band looking to score weed. This was during the mid 1970's. It was a totally ridiculous waste of money and man power to catch some kids selling dime bags.
I live in St. Augustine and know exactly where you were. That's right in front of the old location of the Colonial Spanish Quarter. I've walked by that numerous times. Interesting that you were right here and I didn't even know. But yeah, they have a new ordinance about live music on George St. because it was annoying tourists,
Yeh I see those tourists were really annoyed. I'm from St. Augustine, and the city changes its law about St. George Street every few years. Capricious pigs.
I saw the Sauce Boss last year in Newport, RI at the Newport Blues Cafe and he was awesome!! The gumbo was excellent as well. I now live in Charleston, SC, hope he does a show near here soon!
I definitely thought this was going to be EpicMealTime related...

The pig ruined it for the kids - they just wanted to hear some music.

saw this guy at Madam's Organ in DC last weekend, unbelievable! The gumbo he cooks during the show alone is worth the price of admission.

@unckid22 I was there too, definitely worth the cover, got really crowded in there though.
