I did it. Missing steps for those who may ask (min 4:10)►Right click over Mask, choose►add to mask selection, then click over chained image (at left of mask), and apply►Ctrl J.

Excellent UPTO where you select the background layer, (4 min 10) right click, get the selection up and move over it, back to the layer and then another layer appears form apparently no where. That bit you lost me.
