Did you know, older hmong music, I'm not sure about the newer hmong music because lot of them sucks-butt and i don't listen to them, but the older hmong music they have that nice opening, most times it's the flute and it just sounds really good. these videos are great! they have higher tech for cheaper price too so there's nothing wrong with going over there for filming...its really up to them to do whatever they think who should be included or not if any one is good enough try to make their own and appreciate these music videos

Went 2 their concert in Fresno for the new year's, it was alright. They didn't even play the classics though. As far as their new album goes, I liked track #11 the best.

That lead singer is such a bad actor to his singing...which is a big turn off in the MV. It really does feel like watching a fan made MV versus a Sounder's MV.
The sounders booth at the Fresno New Year 2009/2010 was the only booth I saw that had people around. Every new singer didn't have people at all. I'm glad to see that the sounders still have loyal fans.
Sounder is only as good as their old album. New album don't wow me. Riff and techinique wise, there nothing new I guess. Yep it true if you compare them, skill and lyric, they're better then all the other hmong band cause experince and knowledge. But if you look it from a professional artist view, They need more then there new album to wow any musician that are as skill and plus then they are. If this is it, then they must be desperate, or either this is it. Nothing new.
i understand what you're saying. however, most ppl dont listen to sounders for technicality....at least not anymore. they just write good songs these days and i still think their earlier work is still some of best hmong music out there. their work is so strong in so many areas that their overall album can't fail.
Most kid these day will listen to anything that has an acoustic and what they think is a good voice, ect. More of a popularity then what it really is. And if your going to make another album. At least make it with expectation that is better or equal to the earlyier album. I was expecting something better from the sounder for their new album. First of all, I'm a HUGE Sounders fan. Luv their music. No doubt they are one of the top- notch bands out there. However, if their market is the Hmong audience, then they need to employ more Hmong artists to help them out. If their market is Thai, then that's fine. Just my 2 cents. this mv is really good. i like it. but too sad you'll have to but the dvd and cd to get all of their songs. cuz they don't have a mv for all their songs. love this band. #1

music isn't good, bad lyric. and wtf is up with sounder not having any hmoob in their MV when it a hmoob band. instead you sub it with some thai actor or actress. almost as if their saying hmoob are to stupid or ugly to be in their MV. sure sounder your really taking it to the next lvl eh. i say just retire you had your time and it time to break up the band, because each time you guys release a new album you just degrade yourselves. im sure ur just doing it for the money not for the fan...

That lead singer is such a bad actor to his singing...which is a big turn off in the MV. It really does feel like watching a fan made MV versus a Sounder's MV.

The sounders booth at the Fresno New Year 2009/2010 was the only booth I saw that had people around. Every new singer didn't have people at all. I'm glad to see that the sounders still have loyal fans.

Sounder is only as good as their old album. New album don't wow me. Riff and techinique wise, there nothing new I guess. Yep it true if you compare them, skill and lyric, they're better then all the other hmong band cause experince and knowledge. But if you look it from a professional artist view, They need more then there new album to wow any musician that are as skill and plus then they are. If this is it, then they must be desperate, or either this is it. Nothing new.

i understand what you're saying. however, most ppl dont listen to sounders for technicality....at least not anymore. they just write good songs these days and i still think their earlier work is still some of best hmong music out there. their work is so strong in so many areas that their overall album can't fail.

Most kid these day will listen to anything that has an acoustic and what they think is a good voice, ect. More of a popularity then what it really is. And if your going to make another album. At least make it with expectation that is better or equal to the earlyier album. I was expecting something better from the sounder for their new album. I can honestly group them with most desperate band these day. Cause like i forgot, I think it the interview of Sounder. Their expectation:

Their Expectation was to bring a hmong band to a new level. They wanna be one of the first to move futher. But they did not. A good song consist of good lyrics, good technique. Good improvisation. Overall, it did not meet a professional musician expectation from what they did on thier new album in those category. And you cannot say you love music, group a band to be best or good. If you don't look at it from where it should be.

First of all, I'm a HUGE Sounders fan. Luv their music. No doubt they are one of the top- notch bands out there. However, if their market is the Hmong audience, then they need to employ more Hmong artists to help them out. If their market is Thai, then that's fine. Just my 2 cents.
