Which is completely false. Alvin has stated on more than one occasion via his deviantART that most of the reason for the delays it is due to loss of interest. Which, after working on the series for as long as he has, isn't really a big surprise.

@tommyblundell1122 Yes Shadow is Immortal. Shadow was created by Eggman's grandfather, Professor Gerald Robotnik in a search of a cure for Maria's fatal disease. He was almost complete but the Professor had a delima. I can't remember what it was but Black Doom's blood was the key to bring Shadow to life. Black Doom is an immortal which makes Shadow immortal. However, both have their limits. About Shadow coming back, that was due to his populatity since Shadow was ment to be a one time character.

Plus he was created with Black Doom's blood (not making it up) and Black Doom is an immortal as well. However it suggests that even though Shadow and Black Doom may be immortal, they aren't invinceable, Shadow actually did almost died on Sonic Adventure 2 and it could happen again if Shadow gets too careless.
