Point taken. I am just accustomed to training in the gear relative to the environment, unless I am teaching strictly reality combat principles. Then, my students train as they are, in whatever they are wearing, at a moment I choose. The element of surprise and constant awareness.

Ok maybe I am not a traditional ninja, I am more a modern day ninja and stealth practioner. Yes the ninja exsisted only in ancient japan, and i am in the usa today. So that makes me something else, I am a practioner of Nintaijutsu.

First off, a version of ninja existed in China. They were known as moshuh nanren. Secondly, strictly speaking, the ninja and samurai were a different class in society, considering, samurai operated under a code of honor and ninja did not, even though the ninja, may have disguised themselves as samurai

There is only one major difference between ancient ninja of Japan and modern ninja of any country. WE do not assassinate.. In all other aspects, we are the same.

That is great for you. I think we really messed up the planet, we are constantly raping it. If we understand that we all have ecological foot prints and that resources are limited, and there are better life styles then we may be able to change things. The only thing we can do before we change the world is ourself.

Nice vid Mike, good skills. I have a few rolling moves and strikes with a 6ft stick I would like to share with you that I was taught by my instuctors.Just waiting for my arm to mend.

nice work mike. looks nice outside. i am sitting by the window and it is snowing like crazy outside and windy. wow. cold. nice work. i love you bo you know. i dont play with my sai much because i think maybe it is not traditional ninja but i like other non ninja weapons like nunchaku. but i think i like the longer range weapons better. i am not very good with sai. 5 stars. keep sharing

Snow is good for the people in the vallies below, they probably get all their water that way. Brother you live on a geologic marvel. I used to study maps of your region in Geology class. You like long range weapons I got it. Yeah I am trying with the traditional karate weapons using taijutsu. That's cool, I never really used the nunchaku much, I think they are hard to control. You can throw the sai, I like thowing it down in the lower half.

Got to get those rubber sai soon.
