@silvershadowgirl1 He is but it was revealed that she is dying by both Joss and the actress playing her. Never specified of what. But I could see Mal and River becoming closer due to them both greiving over her.

This is by far my favorite Mal/river vid...nothing compares to this one vid. It's a story within itself and it's bloody great. I'd love to see another one. You should think of fanficing this vid.
