Yes you can,

the secret is the distance from the pistol to the helmet's surface, and how much air and fluid to you apply on it.

most of it cames with practice

Pistol? i was talking about creating the gloss with a standart spray can..

to be honest I never tried that before.

For that I used Devillbis professional Air compressed Pistol.

maybe you can get a high quality spray can that migth do that...

We used Automotive Paint and equipment. For the details we used Air Brush and "DeVilbis" special AirBrush models
