True cars came from the 80's and 90's when car companies felt compelled to find a balance between technology and performance. Not relying to heavily on technology or raw power in both production and supercars.

My 98' 2.5t 5-speed manual subaru may not be the most advanced car in the world but for 150k miles it still gives most new cars a run for their money on the twistys and absolutely slays in bad weather. Just one example of a car that is harders to find nowadays.

Logically the problems I see with production would be drivers view of things. By the looks of it, it's impossible to have a rear view or even to the left and right blind spots. I think it lacks the 'European class' that most exotics have.
