hello i know this is probably the wrong video or summin didnt know how to contact you guys, my xmod truck has a problem that i really hate and thats when i accelerate with the car the front wheels grip so hard they they bend and i dont know how to sort it out, please help thanks
I've been wanting to do the 2.4 ghz board on my xmod for a while now. I want the stiletto chassis also. Not sure if it'll fit right with the stiletto though.
How is the steering travel? Do you have the same amount left and right as stock? I would like to see video of the front tires turning as well as a tutorial on installing the 2.4ghz board.
I've added the link to the 2.4Ghz board. You would also need the Kyosho Perfex KT-18 Transmitter, atomicmods # 14132. The Losi radios won't work with kyosho boards. - Jay
can u make a vid cause i want to do it but the instructions on ur site is idk id rather c it be done instead of looking at pix and wats the difference between a awd board and an mr02 board?wats better for xmods?
Yeah because all the xmod trucks had a crap turning, heck a gen 1 xmod with this board would probably steer better then this i plan on buying a mini z mainboard for my evo/street with the v2.2 powerboard.
This conversion is easy to do. The truck is 4wd, this is why it pushed a little. The Stock R has a lot of torque and this truck particularly was setup for crawling per the owner request...so yes it should be faster with a larger pinion but It was pretty quick for being geared low and the surface being slippery. This will work for the evo, evo street and truck. The gen1 cars are electronically different and would take a little more work. - Frank
The price of a board and labor, so not really cheap but not too much. Probably easier to do it yourself, they have a nice write-up on how to do it on their website.
Damn, nice.

only problem is the fact that the steering isn't very good... (the servo's motor is worse that crap)

What's cheaper converting my Xmod street or BUYING a mini-Z 2.4 AWD?
mickilBunz 2 years ago
In the long run, the Mini-Z. It's just a much better built and designed car.- Jay

that looks good can you do it on evo street and gen1 also? and does it matter what kind of 2.4 GHz controller you use?
darthd4 2 years ago
