It's not fighting words and noone's being serious, you're not really calling your friend a bitch or ugly and you're not really going to smack them. Hopefully the other HMs understood. Sometimes the way to deal with racism/sexism/homophobia is to mimic it to show how ridiculous it actually would be to be serious about it.

Nah...it was obviously a joke and well within his sense of humour, which the other housemates (and the viewers) should be pretty familiar with by now. It is a USA thing, kind of an uber-humour making fun of men who are actually seriously like that. It's obvious, over-the-top sarcasm with a deadpan delivery and punctuated with a smile.

Like I told someone before... I think he may have been trying a little Rex on for size with that act and it just didn't fit. He thought that he'd "push" her around and shit and not eat the food and everyone would think it was funny and get a good laugh out of it but instead everyone just thought he was a fuckin prick for it....and rightfully so.

Darnell is a punk. Perhaps this may be one of the reasons that people don't like him. He's too over the top with his shit. And he doesn't seem to think before he speaks or acts. On what planet is it funny to demand someone make you food and not eat it when there are always food issues in the house? If it was a cuppa, yeah fine, haha. But not a whole meal. What they didn't show in the H/L was Mo demanding that Lisa, who had gone to sleep early after the cycling task, woke up and made him tea even though other Hell people were in the kitchen. Even his mate Rex called him a "selfish git". Mo is always stealing food, drink, fags etc but you only know if you watch the live feed what a lazy, sneaky prick he is.
