I'm still on the fence, but I think Biden clearly won this debate as far as substance is concerned: he answered the questions and added relevant info I thought supported his stance. I think he also did a good job in deflecting sticky points about him&Obama. both sides gave out half-truths and false statements (you're kidding yourself if you don't think so...) but this VP debate didn't sway me to vote either way THAT much...

watching the debate, people were expecting Palin to fall flat on her face against a very experienced politician in Biden. I thought she barely held her own. I agree that all the winking and smirking was a little annoying. she just didn't come across to me as very knowledgable in some of her answers and counter statements. some of her statements just 'sounded' like she was just regurgitating what she practiced at McCain's house before the debate. not a lot of depth to her answers.
