Your covers are great. Your tone is spot on, and you play the songs better than most people that upload fall out boy bass covers, cos they've often only had their bass for a week or so. If you could improve it would be by adding your own fills and licks into your covers for a little bit extra juicyness.

All of Fall Out Boy's songs are pretty easy. If you learn enough of them you'll realize that most of their songs have very similar progressions, but in different keys and with some changes in the rhythm to give them a different feel.

Actually most pop-punk is like that. All Time Low, Blink-182, newer Green Day (songs from American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown), New Found Glory, and other such bands are great for beginners to learn to play since they're really easy.

pop-punk/emo/alternative scene, but go back about 15 years, and basslines were in depth and complicated, and most of the time the reason basslines are so straightforward these days is because many bassists don't realize they can play around in the key of a song. Get over yourself.

well, Fall Out Boy's new songs like this are a different style and thats why so many long time fans hate their new stuff, but if you actually accept that they have matured into a different genre, you'll find that it is pretty good, a differnt style, but good.

but yeah, i prefer their other songs off other albums, but i think that this stuff is good too... but in a different way.
