  • to everyone who has a 5.0 or 5.7l tbi engine DELETE YOUR GOV! its really easy, put it on a toggle flip it when you anna race your service engine soon (SES) light will come on untill you flip it back off again, this way you can blow right past the 110mph marker and go till your hearts delight, if you need unstuctions on how to do this send me a message and ill be glad to help.... but im not responsible for you blowing up your engine because you reved to high or wrap yourself around a pole...

  • KAKE VID I GOT MA SELF A FIREBIRD 84 5.0 5 SPEED CARVURATOR AND I RACED MY BUD MARO Z28 AND I GOT SMOKE NO WAY HE CAN BEAT THE SS UNLESS IS A V6 AND NOT AN SS

  • @mexicanoyborracho of all, its carburetor, second, if your ging to own an american muscle car, learn how to spell what you have into the motor... and you can smoke a ss with a 5.0 i do it all day in my convertible trans am... you just have to know your car and have a deleted gov,

  • Nice nice, i like that Trans Am, i preffer the 3rd gen Trans Am body to the 4th gen Camaro body, although id preffer the late 4th gen (98-02) Trans Am body better than either, LOL, but getting off subject...id stick with the Camaro, im a huge fan of the LS1, cheap engine, easy to live with, and for minimul work and price can be pumped to some pretty damn impressive numbers

  • johhnybarrel is gay.. shut up haha

  • damn ur 5.0 is hella fast haha i wish i had ur 85 5.0

  • i have a 85 trans am 5.0 5speed ws6 edition but im only pushin 250 rwhp stock.... no mods

  • there's no way. the highest horsepower 305 in those older models was like 230 crank in the early 90s. there is no way your 85 is pushing 250 at the wheels...sorry brotha.....u'd be damn lucky to hit 200. sorry man

  • Thats trans am doesnt have a 350 HO in it lol

  • 1991 Trans Am:

    5.0 Automatic = 210 HP

    5.0 5-Speed = 230 HP (Therefore "H.O.")

    Ok ???

    Real 4bbl H.O. with 190 HP in F-Body = 1983-1986

  • There's no way a stock 305 is making 375 HP stock. Stop pulling numbers out of your ass.

  • liar

  • You're full of crap, stock & almost 400 horses? Stick to the real numbers your car has for a 305.

  • It is a 2002 Camaro SS

  • 6 speed

  • The Ls 1 is my car

I was just drive in first gear then my clutch was damage.

Otherwise the Trans am haven't any chance.

And now I have McLeod Street Twin Workhorse Clutches ;o)

  • oh it lost from clutch damage...

    yea...we all believe that

  • That your problem if you believe or not!!!!!!!

  • Lets translate that, that is what the transam driver rote her in comment before he pot that video in YouTube ;o)

DieGummileger (vor 1 Jahr) die Diskussionen losgehen, der Camaro hatte Probleme mit dem Getriebe

  • there was no H.O in 91 the 305 5.0 H>O motor was a l69 carb 305. 91 fbodys could only get l03 tbi 5.0 or 2 different LB9 305 tpi motors

  • truth.

    engines for 91 were the

    3.1/LB9/L98

v6/305/350--->for who doesnt know gm engine names

  • The 305TPI motor was considered the HO 305 motor for later years.

  • 91 Trans Am 5L H.O. 5-Speed?? IMPOSSIBEL!!! why? the year with the following engines. 1991: 3.1L Multi-port Fuel Injection, 5.0L Throttle Body Injection, 5.0L Tuned Port Injection, 5.7L Tuned Port Injection. he could have swaped the engine.. but from factory, that option was gone some long ago! one thing.. LS1/T56 vs. L69 (V8 5L H.O)/T5?? i know the H.O is a box of surprises, but the T5 would not handle an high modefied H.O V8. its a weak transmission for so much power. prob he has an TKO..

  • ps- last year for the 5.0L 4-barrel H.O. (5-speed only) was 1986.. hope this is a good help to figure out this trans am ;)

  • My resto project is the same exact colour... I don't think it'll be running the 1/4 mile for atleast 6 months though...

  • actually sclusc1, hp is wut counts after the start... torque is where the launch is... learn your drag stuff... TPI is notorious for its low end torque.. 330@3200rpm...

  • there's no way it's all stock dude. Unless the other camaro isn't a V-8 at all. There is no way that 230hp can beat 320 hp. No way.

  • READ INFO !!!

  • true

  • I have the exact same car all stock and i have KILLED many a 350 even when they had automatic and im driving 5 speed, don't underestimate the 305 TPI

  • ur so right..... i didnt beat but i kept up wit a dynoed 375rwhp mustang gt.. easy.. TPI very good engine

  • Yeah, it can't be stock. The only way I see that 305 beating an LS1 is if the 305 is highly modded and the LS1 is stock.

  • Yeah, that 5.0L H.O. option on the Camaro and Trans Am was tough to da bone, I love the way them dual cold starts and dual snorkel air hoses look on that engine, and don't forget that Rochester Quadrajet 4 bbl unda that air cleaner!

  • 1991 Pontiac Trans Am LB9 5.0 (305) TPI ("H.O.") with 230 HP, 405 Nm and 5-Speed BorgWarner T5 Transmission !

    ALL STOCK !!!

  • Yeah, I keep forgetting that Pontiac's version of the H.O. option was Tuned Port Injection, versus the Chevy Camaro's carbureted version, but I do remember the Trans Am having the carbureted H.O. option that said: 5.0 Liter H.O. on the hood!

  • The Camaro option was TPI also for that year. They stopped with the carbs in like 1987 i think.

And dont rule out the "low output" 305 TBI, they have the same block as the high output TPI and easily can make it into the 14's with simple mods.

  • Yeah, that 305 TBI sounded real good, I see this guy with a Camaro RS and it's a 305 TBI, and it sounds better than some of the Z-28's and IROC's I see in traffic, simple mods like a Flowmaster dual exhaust, headers, computer tweaking, distributor retarding or advancing will definitely get you some very good e.t.'s...

  • Yeah, the TBI came with some things that were almost designed to just make the car slow! lol, so getting them faster is easy! But I agree I think they sound great! Just look at mine : )

  • srry to comment again, but the last V8 H.O was the L69. ALL STOCK?? amazing!! u are using a T5?? when was ur last rebuild? they are so weak behind V8s :(

  • trans am is so kick ass!

  • Bevor die Diskussionen losgehen, der Camaro hatte Probleme mit dem Getriebe/Kupplung und ich fuhr auf meinen Winterrädern !!!
