Ok boozaaa.. dude.. lil wayne fan or not you cannot seriously think some of those rappers are better than Wayne... I mean seriously?? Havoc... Kurupt... Xzibit.... the entire fucking slaughterhouse?!?! (no offense Joell Ortiz)
not to mention all of the young boys you got up there, I mean talented or not, Wale, J. Cole and Jay Electronica cannot be counted on any respectable all time list this early in there carrers, as they have yet to prove their longevity or versitility as an artist, (traits which Wayne has exemplified over his 15+ year career)
@ClarenceDandelion They are still more talented than Wayne trust me Wale just released his first album and it was better than Wayne's last two. J.Cole and Jay Electronica's albums will be way better than Wayne's last two albums too. Wayne is nice w/ the punchlines. I mean they make me laugh, but usually they have no purpose in the song. And usually they're stating the obvious. On Carter III the only song I could really feel he put his heart into was Tie My Hands. Peace.
@ClarenceDandelion Maybe its, because I like those rappers more than Wayne, but every single rapper in Slaughterhouse is better than Wayne at this present moment. Murs too.
@ClarenceDandelion I was feeling you up until you said Murs sucks. I'm not a huge Murs fan, but when I hear him I usually like him. Not like Wayne's sellout ass. Wayne went from Tha Block Iz Hot and Carter II to turning into even more of a pop artist than he was Tha Carter III and Rebirth suck and so will Tha Carter IIII. No Ceilings was okay, but it was just a bunch of punchlines w/ no purpose like the rest of his material. I wouldn't be suprised if he has had ghostwriters his whole career.
I think it's opinion. But I'm sorry. Ras Kass can't even put out an album. He has to take donations from his few fans just to get the money to release it. Nah he's not better than Wayne lol. If you're feelin him than it's cool, but I disagree on that one.
@iggydala09@iggydala09 I just read that, but you can't doubt that he was a great lyricist. I never said the rappers I listed are better than Wayne at the moment. It could have been at the peak of their career. But, Wayne doesn't have substance anymore his topics seem limited. Jay is sellout just trying to get money. His skill isn't there anymore. Wayne has nice punchlines, but after about 3 songs of them not talking about anything. I'm supposed to listen to a whole mixtape or album of that.
im sure we can all agree that Jay-Z is defiantly one of the worlds legends when it comes to rap, right ? everyone knows him, he is a legend hes amazingly lyricaly smart eh !!
Drake only been in for 3 three years. longevity. makes people great. a good few song sales records. busta does both. 50 gets a bad rep becuz of his public life. his first three albums were fire. lupe is a straight lyricist under rated and under appreciated.lol
yo this one is NICE! You could have slowed down Waynes verse a little bit, and maybe when Jay says the "hook." But this is nice, keep doin yo thing kid. big ups.

@ClarenceDandelion Lil Wayne isn't a top 50 rapper alive. And Jay is washed up and just in it for the money like Wayne.

@Boozaaa To each his own, i guess, but I'd be really curious to see a list of 50 rappers you consider better than Wayne.....

I was familiar with blu and had heard a couple of songs off Below the heavens, although not all of it, I mean I don't see it...
And I'm from DC so trust me I've been following Wale since Paint a Picture, but nah dude he's no where near Wayne at this point in his career...
And, Murs sucks
