  • I hate you

  • some of the pictures reminded me of were I use to live in Las Cañitas. I'm white, my hair used to be blond so I look "out of place" how sad is that.

  • By marketing our economy to other countries the Dominican Republic will witness more tourists coming in and contributing to our economic improvements.

  • I will use my marketing experience to market the Dominican Republics natural resources, hotels, and beach. We will focus on maximizing the production of that which our natural resources give us an advantage of. My business plan will focus on trading and tourism. It is a proven fact that who economies who trade and talk to other foreign countries assemble the most improvement.

  • My plan is to provide opportunities to those who believe that hard work pays of. I assure you that if we work firm towards the same common goal we will see a much improve Dominican Republic. We can do anything we want, we just have to put our mind into it and we need to have the right leadership to do it.

  • A democracy cannot survive with out education, healthcare. We need stable government laws that will stabilize the economy. Within my first two years of presidency I will focus on stopping crime, improving education, and proving jobs. I will take care of those with help in need. My main focus will entail reforming the government laws and in return we will see a much improve Dominican Republic. Compare to more modernized economys most of the Dominican people live in poverty.

  • when you finally are going to acknowledge anthing all. You are in deep denial let me clarify that DR and Haiti are third world countries, the island was robbed of most of thier wealth by the colonial power. DR is undoubltly in better shape than haiti. In DR

Racism is rampant, crime and prostitution exist

  • It is sad that they are so poor, but they have no right to invade other countries with their problems. Stay there and struggle for it to be better instead of running away like cowards.

  • Poverty exist everywhere even here in the U.S. You could go to the Appalachian Region which covers 12 states and you can see people starving living in shanty towns with no electricity with no running water. And 90% of the people are white americans. So poverty is a worldwide disease.

  • Haitians are the Dominican underclass, poorer than those people you are showing here. They are used, starved, are beaten, abused and then sent back across the border.

  • everything in this video is true.although it is hard for most dominicans at least were im from,el cibao,to unite with the haitians.we are different in one really big spot,religion...most of the people i know want them gone but do not realize even if they do go,OUR people are still in poverty.....

  • I enjoyed your video very much; it is nice to see that there are those out there that hope for change.

  • Dominican1000, sorry you didn't like our video. It was done as part of a high school social studies class. We live in the Dominican Republic; we have our whole life; we also love this/our country. It was a piece on the Renaissance and people speaking out about what they thought was wrong around them. This one was done on the level of poverty, a fact of life for many here in the DR.

  • I dont like this kind of videos, i live there, im a low-middle class and a live fine men, the goverment is one of the responsible of this, but who makes the goverment? the people, and people are so ignorant..
