I have to say this song defined my 20s. I saw them play in at Glastonbury in 1992. As they took to the stage, it was empty, I looked back after the gig and there must have been 5 thousand people stood watching. Awesome awesome awesome, I miss those guys and I miss those days. Saw Flowered Up a couple of years back at Clapham Common, along with Happy Mondays, The Farm et al.

Great to see them all with their families, kids, etc. and of course still urinating all over the crap that passes as popular music these days.

Had tickets to see FU earlier this year, but the gig got cancelled. Didn't realise then, how "late in the day" it was...

I have just read this guys obituary and decided to listen having never done so before, being a massive fan of the Mondays and Stone Roses, and being from Madchester! Its sad news that he has died so young but i must say that this song is pretty awful! Its just a copy of what those great bands did, but done in a less musically coherent way. Fck me, was at that gig as well. Me and a mate hitched from Fife then had to spend the night walking the streets/Dunken Donuts til the first bus home about 7 am. Was well worth it though, mayhem in a good way.
