Great looking Mill. Do you have detail shots of the carriage set up? I've been thinking of adapting my pro cut mill to work like yours. Any info would be appreciated.
Unique design! Do you have any pictures of the frame that the sawbar and engine are mounted to? It's difficult to see how it is built and works from the video.
Real nice job! 2 thumbs up!! I own a fab shop and have started building a bandsaw mill. Some more parts came in today. I added you to my favorites!!!!
Good job on your build design. What is the over all cut size capacity of the mill, and was it mounted on a trailer? How long did it take to build? Is the chain cluch bell just a driver or is it a working clutch?

Thanks
can cut 12" wide 16 ft long
the axil and pole are in 2x2" pockets for quick detatch
a month of weekends to build
the clutch is a derect sprocet with a electric lawn mower clutch.
cost me around $900 to build with new steel and used motor and clutch but alot of work and alot of fun.

That is a nice compact design for a chain sawmill. Is this your own design or did you find some plans?

Pure awesomeness! I am designing something similar based on a 56 in bar. Do you have a parts list or some plans to share? Thanks.

No parts list but some pointers.
The slower chaine speed the less the oil will fly off, less heet and frichion on chaine,to slow and it will grab.

For a home made saw mill it works good
I have past my axispectations as far as the lumber quality and production.
the only change I will make is I would like to add a hydrolic propel systime to pull the carige and run it off the same motor.
