  • Hello. I have that Google redirect virus thing. If I download this Malwarebytes AntiMalware, can it remove it? Just a simple question.

  • @TheGn2 It should.

  • @InfernoLynx It didn't get removed. :( Even Norton can't detect this virus. Are there any other options?

  • @TheGn2 scan with mbam again, if that doesn't work, try using spyware doctor, and that rogue is still on your PC after a month?

  • @InfernoLynx Well, I actually have had it for about 3 months. I got that virus sometime between when i got AntiMalware GO and Windows Recovery. Btw, I am not in the computer with the virus. I took it to my uncle to get it fixed. He said that reinstalling Windows 7 will help. But i am not sure, and i don't want to lose my files.

  • my desktop just got the antimalware go thing last week and I'm actually doing everything you said to do in the vid as I'm typing (on my laptop)

I saw your scan said it found what looked like 115 infected files but you had antivira va. how many infected files should I expect to see once the scan is done for antimalware go?

  • @WiiCubeFilms I don't know, these rogues usually update themselves so the amount of infections may change, the problem with this video however, is that the computer was infected with several other rogues in the past.

  • @InfernoLynx same with my desktop. when the scan finished last night it found 16 infected files but some of them were from the third rogue it got. Antimalware Go is actually the fifth rogue this computer got but I think I removed it because it hasn't shown up yet. however as I typed this my antivirus just found something.

    Trojan.Win32.FakeAV.atuw

is that one of the files of the rogue or is that a different one?

  • @WiiCubeFilms Probably is, either way, you'll want to remove it.

  • @InfernoLynx yeah I removed it and so far it seems to be fine.

  • i have no proxy selected and try to do the download but it takes me back to the same page... Help me please

  • @FallzPuMpKiiN Try to copy the setup to a CD and put it on the infected computer.

  • i clicked download now on the malware page and nothing happens. This virus crap has been screwing with my computer for days and is making me really angry. Please help, the download will not start.

  • you are the best

  • i tried malwarebytes/spydoctor/super anti malware thingy but it its still there.

only malware found infenction and cleaned it but its still there =.=

  • @InfernoLynx thank you. god rid of it : D

  • hey, I did as you instructed but there's no object infected. what do I do?

  • @mayantopusing Try the other programs in my description.

  • Would you recommend Spyware Doctor as a good, temporary fix for this problem? I'll try Malware Bytes later, but I'm just looking for something I can transfer easily on a flash drive from this computer to my laptop. (I have McAfee, but it's not working on this problem, for some reason.)

  • @KyoXTohru1 In my honest opinion, McAfee is terrible, spyware doctor is pretty good though, so go ahead.

  • ok ran it again, it cleaned it....thanks for the help

  • I came up with one object infected and the virus is still there after i deleted it...

  • i ran this and followed the instructions but i only got 2 items infected i removed them but it still is not working any suggestions

  • @mcworker17 Sending a PM.

  • I did everything on the video it says that theres no objects infected 0

  • @TheMyspace619 I'll send you a PM.

  • @banjoandfriends Try to copy the setup to a CD and put it on the infected computer.

  • Inferno I just want to let you know I love you so much. -3

  • I followed all your steps and internet explorer still does not work after I refreshed it. What do I do?

  • @ryro327 Try to copy the setup to a CD and put it on the infected computer.

  • When my boyfriend got this problem on his computer malwarebytes couldn't detect any problems either until we restored the internet functions by using safemode with networking.

We are scanning right now and will beat this bastard virus (my boyfriend wrote the last part)

  • you probably won't believe me, but when i got this virus, i scanned with malawarebytes (because i already had it) and it found NOTHING

  • @mkdaisgory try the other programs in my description, if you still have problems, PM me.

  • @InfernoLynx oh, I already got rid of it. but i'll try out the others anyways :)

  • @monikangel777 Avast.

Refresh the page once you're done with all this

  • @mcworker17 It should, if not, try to get rkill on a cd and put it in the infected computer, link is in the description.

  • i did not have to use safe mode

  • Ok, so alls you really have to do is go into safemode with networking and then perform a full scan with Malwarebytes? I was infected, did a quick scan, and then was once again infected. Will the full scan work completely this time around? :(
