Notice how all the comments for the last eight days or so are both of you arguing? Yah? So shut the hell up and go to a science forum or something and let normal people comment on videos that are also normal and leave your science crap that doesn't relate to the video at all...
@MadaraPeinNaruto Look, I'm soory about this. I had something recent like this happen to me aswell. I'll just argue with firegod001 (who doesn't know a thing about science) through personal messages.
@GrimmThePhantom I don't think you actually mean scientific, but it's kind of hard to respond to every one of your ridiculous assertions when at the time, you were making several per post, so I refused to respond to them. When I can tackle 1 or 2 at a time without some clueless kid begging me to respond to dozens of them, I feel a lot more comfortable doing so. If you go back to your previous tactics, I will go back to my refusals.
@MadaraPeinNaruto If people stop calling factual things frauds, if people stop referring to a scientific theory as a fraudulent common theory, if people stop referring to ridiculous, dishonest, unscientific, cretinist speculation as science, then I will most certainly stop.
some of my close homeschooled teenage friends just proved how stereotypical people can be. let me describe these ppl #1 they're VERY smart #2 they don't follow ANY religion and #3 one of their favorite shows on tv is JERSEY SHORE
7 CONT There are some parts of evolution I agree with. Many things of evolution I don't doubt exist but I don't think they are actually 'evolution'. I have never been able to pin down exactly what I mean, and probably will never be able to(I am the worst at explaining my thoughts). Eventually I'll have all my notes typed or written out so I can share with others. YouTube comments aren't exactly the place to type out a personal paper. *shrugs*
@LittleNerdyOTAKU You understand that evolution happens, and yet, I don't think you know it. It does happen. That's a fact. The doubts you have are regarding the scientific theory, not evolution itself. This is one of the things many people in my country are confused about, even some people who are mostly on my side of the argument. This is the case mostly because we have way too many clergy talking about science. It confuses the hell out of us, if I may use a small pun.
7. I just wish if people did try to find answers to things(Because I know I do but leave other things untouched) they would stop being so uptight about it. It hardly makes anything enjoyable. That's probably one reason I don't wish to go into any scientific field. As a child I hated science but now that I'm older I see the miracles and amazing things of science that not many people know of or get to see... On the side hobby, perhaps.. But I've never seen many open-minded scientist.
5 CONT Although I guess that statement wasn't really aimed towards the convo about Evolution.. :x
6. I just wanted to know how on earth it got started. If I wanted everyone to shut up, I would just leave the video and never come back. But I posted a comment, mostly because I saw someone typing logically but wasn't being a hopelessly narrow-minded boob(not that anyone is) that I wanted to respond secretly, and certainly they have. They just haven't been given a good arguement to discuss yet.
4. I was just concerned because a lot of people who believe in evolution(I'm not saying you) use it to prove there can be no God. Can't really describe it because I don't really understand it. However, if you go from a religious aspect and do research on proof of a god while understanding how each religion thinks their god shows themself, you can normally either falsify it or place a plausable on it. Normally. Sometimes. I see your point.
5. Oh no, they're two completley different ideas. CONT>>>
2. Yes.. There are so many things that I just have to giggle about that they thought hundreds of years ago that we now know today... Maybe in another 100 years what we think is right will actually be wrong. :/
3. I don't know how I could act like a clown when posting a theory of physics :/ It wasn't directly put at evolution. However, I do know a lot of evolutions try to say we(creatures) came from a little, wee tiny single celled organism, skip several steps, then say 'now here we are'.
Just to let y'all know Christians don't believe in evolution because god made us a lot of people could say other wise but it is not going to change it Is the truth
@CottenCandy71 Christians have a lot of basis in the Bible on how God made the Earth and it's inhabitants. Evolution that is happening now doesn't really defy God's Word. Many people, including Christians, are confused about what Christianity actually is. It's less of a religion but more of a relationship with God. The Bible is just a base to start and learn from. I do not doubt man has tampered with the Bible. You can compare Bibles and see difference in words and meanings. It's sad actually.
forget about evolution, the main point here is DID ANYONE NOTICE HOW MANY FREAKING KIDS THAT WOMAN HAD??! DAYUM, the last 3 kids just walked out of her.
Its so funny that people think Christians don't believe in evolution. Christians do believe in evolution. Maybe not to the whole extent, but we do believe in some evolution. Some science works hand in hand with religion. And there is a lot of science that is "theory." Evolution is a theory.
No, it's not. The Theory of Evolution is a scientific theory, but evolution itself is a FACT. It's just like with gravitational theory, The Theory of Heliocentricity, Cell Theory, etc. All scientific theories about a factual thing, just like evolution. You people are being taught to talk this way about evolution, because certain people know that it is a good way to make you say evolution is a fraud, even though they know that evolution happens. Why follow such dishonest leaders?
@firegod001 Give me evidence of evolution! All you are doing is repeating the same statement over and over without any evidence. Which is just plain stupid.
@firegod001 My 'idiotic points' as you called them are scientific. The comment you placed was addressed as a reply so I couldn't tell who it was for, post things as a reply if they are meant for a certain person. Dust collects on the moon and since NASA believes in evolution they calculated that they would be 8 feet of dust, but there was hardly an inch. There is some of my evidence, try to rebuttal it, and then give me evidence for your evolution claim.
@GrimmThePhantom It WAS done as a reply, but I ran out of room, so I removed the name. Since it wasn't sent to your box as a reply, it's safe to assume that I wasn't talking to you. There is NOTHING you have said that is scientific. Zero.
@firegod001 You are making claims without evidence. I'm making claims with evidence, Noah's Ark was found in a valley near Mt. Arat, did you know that? Mising links like Lucy was a chimp creature with a human knee bone, in the same area they found two human skulls. Java Man was a pig's tooth. No where in the world can the geological column be found. The archeopteryx was a bird like the Ibis or Swan, all three have claws on their wings. I have evidence, what do you have besides claims
@GrimmThePhantom WRONG. There are evangelicals who CLAIM that pieces of wood they found there are from The Ark. To call the so-called evidence for it dubious would be very, very kind. The evidence that evolution happens, however, is BEYOND conclusive. The evidence for human evolution (the thing you keep spewing your nonsensical talking points about is very strong. It's out there for you to very easily find. You refuse to, and then claim victory. It's absolutely pathetic.
@GrimmThePhantom I was going to post transitional fossils and go into more depth about how rare the fraud are, but you are annoying me. You continue our conversation when I told you I would get to it when I had the time and patience. You annoy me with fictional garbage relating to some wood found in Turkey. You are ridiculous.
@firegod001 Fossils don't prove anything. They don't tell you if that creature had any kids, especially ones that were different. The wood that you mention is a fossilized boat underground that fits the exact size of Noah's Ark. All you are doing is insulting the ideas without rebuttaling my evidence. What about my evidence with the moon or the geological column? I think everyone can see that you are losing.
@GrimmThePhantom I'm talking to a kid who thinks that evolution is a fraud, that fossils don't prove anything, who can't see just by looking around and THINKING that evolution is happening all around us, because his religious leaders tell him not to. I'm talking to someone who probably gets as much of his views on evolution from The Flintstones as he does from science books, someone who has no idea how theocratic his views are. I couldn't possibly be losing.
@firegod001 I'm using evidence. I've mentioned that thing with the moon try these: Why did the flagellum and other asexual reproducing creatures evolved to sexual reproduction, it's more tedious to find a mate. How can you explain the human soul? Evolution says things are evolving and becoming better, what about entropy? Respond! Give evidence! You haven't given any evidence yet.
@GrimmThePhantom No, you're not. You're spewing out nonsensical creationist talking points that have been defeated countless times many years ago. It makes no more sense now than it did then. One thing you don't understand is that no one says evolution is perfect. Most of evolution is life forms adapting to their surroundings. That's not always going to produce the most logical results. Once again, you claim that evolution says something it doesn't. (CONT)
@GrimmThePhantom You do this because you are getting very bad information from people who know nothing about science. Evolution doesn't SAY much of anything. That's the scientific theory, NOT evolution, and you can't even come close to getting right what the scientific theory says anyway. You're totally clueless. If you had the desire to know the truth, you would read science books, but you won't do that. You've decided to follow religion when it comes to science. Congrats.
@firegod001 Evolution says flagellums have advanced into humans. You haven't rebuttal any of my evidence! Out of all of the people that I have argued with, you have the least evidence and are the most stubborn. Rebuttal my thing about the moon, asexual reproduction, the human soul, entropy, and the founding of Noah's Ark. If you don't have that ability, give me evidence for evolution if you can do even that.
@GrimmThePhantom Listen, child. If you responded to the facts I have given you with an open-mind, if you had been patient instead of harassed me, PERHAPS I would entertain these idiotic, completely ignorant assertions of yours and even post plenty of links. However, you have proven you are beyond hopeless. You are still calling it evolution. How would you respond if I said that gravity claims this or that? Gravity doesn't say things, and neither does evolution. Grasp the (CONT)
@GrimmThePhantom (CONT) factual occurrence that has been observed over and over. That being the case, macroevolution is a fact, not just micro, as you and your ignorant ilk choose to spew forth all over the world. It's fictional tripe, and it will be treated as such by anyone who knows anything about evolution.
@firegod001 Okay. You say macro evolution is real yet you are giving no facts to support it. You sound like a resounding gong, over and over and over, you repeat the same thing without any evidence.
@GrimmThePhantom Quitting? Against someone who knows nothing about biology? Against someone who would use religion over science on scientific matters? Someone who honestly believes the world is 6 thousand years old, and would inexplicably treat a fact like evolution as if it's merely some kind of hypothesis? You're just too ignorant to take very seriously. Why don't you get a science education, instead of pathetically begging me to do it for you?
@GrimmThePhantom I read your comment in my inbox but I cannot find it at the comments of this video. Again you insult me, state evolution is a fact, and give no supporting facts. Neanderthal man was a pig's tooth. Piltdown Man was a human head on an ape's body. Neanderthal was an old guy with arthritus. Java Man was an ape skull cap, 3 human teeth and thigh bone; in the same are there were human skulls also found. I just proved 4 transitional ape-to-man fossils wrong.
@firegod001 Please tell me how I didn't. Try this: Clams were found on top of Mt. Everest, closed. Clams open when they die so they must of been buried alive. This supports The Global Flood. TRY to disprove that, give supporting facts. Just saying it's wrong is denying facts and truth.
@GrimmThePhantom You didn't, because only one of those four things was a hoax, and it was a hundred years ago! Talk about rare hoaxes within The Theory of Evolution (not the FACT, the scientific THEORY!). Thank you for illustrating how rare it is for me! You have posted dozens of falsehoods on this video; if I were to correct them all, it would be a full time job, and I didn't sign up for that shit! Just get facts from reliable sources, and when it comes to science, that is NOT the clergy!
@firegod001 Again, you are making a claim without science to back it up. Atheists believe that we came from bacteria. Bacteria is made of molecules and proteins. The proteins and molecules are made of amino acids. Atheists say they evolved in primordial soup with WATER. Amino acids will fuse with water before they would fuse with each other, since they won't fuse with each other they can't make proteins, no proteins, no bacteria, no bacteria no evolution.
@GrimmThePhantom No, my facts have tons and tons of science to back them up. Yours don't. And once again, it is not my job to correct every falsehood you spew, especially when you do it several times per comment, as you did here.
@firegod001 If you tried to disprove me, then you would be disproving me publically in front of people reading this and it would support theory. However, this is only theoretical since you haven't disproven one thing that I've said. You've insulted the facts but the doesn't disprove a thing. Isn't it sad that you're losing to someone 25 years younger than you?
@GrimmThePhantom It's pointless. You don't say hardly anything that's factual. Correcting you on it all the time would be like cleaning up after a cat that dribbles piss on the floor 1000 times a day. I refuse to do it. You're likely to bring up the stupid banana argument someday. It would be appropriate with all the other preposterous nonsense you've been spewing.
@firegod001 You know what!? Fine! Prove me wrong one thing, ONE THING! And I shall let you win this argument. Don't just rebuttal actually prove me wrong until I can longer back it up with science.
@GrimmThePhantom What kind of proof are you looking for? Sources? Books? Quotes? You haven't been posting any of that, and you've been declaring victory at every turn! Using your pathetic logic, all I have to do is MENTION the fact that your hoaxes weren't hoaxes at all, and that would be proof. Okay. The word I used was falsehoods and one of the MANY falsehoods you posted was about atheists claiming this and that, which is just plain preposterous. Sorry that I don't have PROOF of what is (CONT)
(CONT) in the mind of every atheist, but it doesn't take a genius to know that your claims were 100% bogus. All atheism is is not having a belief in a god. Some of them even think the same stupid way you do about evolution, because they've been brainwashed to. So try again. Now, back to some of your falsehoods. CLAMS?? Seriously? Plate tectonics is the explanation. As I said, I'm not doing your homework for you. LOOK IT UP. Only a moron would think clams on a mountain was evidence for ID.
@GrimmThePhantom I can't lose to someone who says he is proving things he's not proving, who says he is posting facts that are not in any sense of the word facts, and is so inconsistent that he thinks by simply mentioning 1 hoax and 3 non-hoaxes, that he has PROVEN FOUR transitional fossils wrong, and yet thinks that I need to ACTUALLY prove something, and not just post a rebuttal. It's absolutely amazing how deluded you are.
@firegod001 Well, I gave you a chance but apparently you have to big of an ego & not alot of evidence to support your theory. Atheists say carbon-14 proves old age of the earth. sun rays hit nitrogen 14 & becomes carbon 14 in the stratosphere. Plants breath C14 along with C12 & then the animals eat the plants & we eat the animals. So all organisms contain C14. C14 decays but we replenish in our bodies by eating plants & animals with C14 when we die we stop eating & C14 decays. (CON)
@GrimmThePhantom Well, since you didn't respond to anything I said, and simply continued with the falsehoods regarding atheism and science, I accept your offer to concede defeat to me as you promised. By the way, MANY of the most prominent evolution scientists both in the present and the past have been THEISTS, so that is another reason your atheist tripe has no leg to stand on whatsoever. REAL scientists like to keep science and religion separate, while fake scientists (like creationists)(CONT)
(CONT) like to pretend that their religion is science, when in fact, it is the exact opposite of it. In regards to c14, while it is a great way to date something that is in between 400 and 40,000 years old, a scientific look at it in no way suggests a young earth. One thing your leaders weren't taking into account when they came up with that nonsense is that c14 does not enter our atmosphere in a consistent manner. Sometimes it enter much slower than it exits, and sometimes the opposite (CONT)
(CONT) is true. There is no reasonable data to suggest that the levels of c14 in our atmosphere in anyway shows a starting time of earth. People versed on this subject who use the scientific method know this. Those who PRETEND to use the scientific method but never do probably know this as well, but they will continue to try their pathetic little tricks to support their religious claims for a very long time. It makes me sad, because it is a big embarrassment to our country.
@firegod001 (CON) C14 has a half-life of 5,730 which means half of it decays every 5,730 years. They check C14 in a dead body & if there is half of what was originally there than it is 5,730 years old. The problem with this is the equlibrium: Eventually the amount of C14 being made by the sun will equal the amount of C14 decaying. Equalibrium would take about 30,000 years; we have not reached equalibrium so the earth is atleast 29,000 years old & carbon dating doesn't work. Give up?
@GrimmThePhantom Do I give up? Of course not. However, I have to admit that the thought has crossed my mind, reading your tripe and seeing how self-confident you are about your ignorant take on "scientific" matters, never being slightly scientific in any way, and continually and inexplicably patting yourself on the back. It's enough to make any rational, half-way informed person's head hurt.
@firegod001 Okay, another claim. The electromagnetic field of the earth is weakening, which means more rays from the sun will enter & increase the amount of C14 in the stratosphere. In the past 150 years, there has been a 10% decrease of our elecromagnetic field. Also, two other assumptions carbon dating has are: How much C14 was in it when it died and the rate of decay has always been the same, both assumptions take place and have not been questioned. Note I'm being scientific here!
@GrimmThePhantom No, you are not being scientific. You are merely following people who CLAIM to be scientific, but are actually employing tactics that are the exact opposite of science, as I have pointed out many times already. I'm not sure what your current point about c14 is. C14 is not used to date anything older than 40,000 years old today, and is not used by real scientists to gauge the age of our planet. Care to explain with a little more clarity what you point is?
@firegod001 They use C14 to claim the is older than 6,000-10,000 years old, which is false. They use other radiometric dating aswell, but also has assumptions which are not questioned. They never wonder if they know the rate of conversion from father to daughter element has been constant, or the subject was isolated so that father element cannot be added & daughter element cannot be lost. Try this: Two frozen mammoths by the colorado creek were side by side. One was carbon dated CON.
@GrimmThePhantom No, you're not using science; you're listening to very old and BAD teachings of non-scientists. I've never seen or heard a scientist make that claim, not in the last 60 years, anyway. However, there are plenty of things that conclusively "prove" (I'm using quotes here because most real scientists never claim that science can actually PROVE anything) the earth is much older than 6000 years old, such as the Greenland ice sheet. As far as the mammoths go, I haven't heard of (CONT)
@GrimmThePhantom (CONT) that, and can't find anything remotely scientific to back it up. If it happened at all, it was most likely due to an invalid use of the dating. Such dating can be done incorrectly, or have the circumstances be insufficient for accurate results. I'd like to go back to the Piltdown Man for a minute (the only one of your four "hoaxes" that could legitimately be called a hoax). It was DEFINITELY a hoax. It rarely happens, but it does happen in many scientific fields. (CONT)
@GrimmThePhantom (CONT) The main evidence used to discredit Piltdown Man was chemical dating that creationists reject. So much for consistency... And obviously, those people who discredited it were not creationists, but evolution scientists. And even though it took decades to fully discredit this hoax, it had nothing to do with the credibility of evolution itself, and in fact, many scientists at the time did not believe it was real at all. So much for your hoaxes discrediting anything at all.
@firegod001 Thanks! You just admitted that PIltdown was a fraud for me, the only problem is, is that it is still taught in schools! Also, how about Cro-Magnon man? He looked like a normal guy. Put a suit on him, give him a shave and no one would give him a second look.
@GrimmThePhantom no, it is NOT still taught in schools. It was revealed as a fraud by evolution scientists long ago. NO real scientist teach that Piltdown Man was anything other than a fraud. You are grasping for straws so far, that you might as well be Mister Fantastic.
@firegod001 CON 22,850 years old the other was carbon dated to be 16,150. They were side by side! This happened in 1992. Don't believe me? Stratigraphy of the Colorado Creek Mammoth Locality Alaska, is the book you can find this in. Again, I'm using SCIENCE! CLams were found on Mt. Everest as you well know, but they were buried alive! NOw, the mountain wasn't there during the flood but after waves crashing moving the dirt up, the clams got there during the Global Flood.
Those are not real definitions of evolution. It looks like something you got from a creationist website. Once again, creationism is the exact opposite of science, and the only thing you are teaching yourself with this tripe is ignorance, pure and simple. All macroevolution is is evolution at the speciation level or beyond. It's none of the things you mentioned. It's basically micro evolution over a very long period of time, until we have recognized a new species. PERIOD. Speciation is a (CONT)
@GrimmThePhantom BASICS of science and evolution, and we might have something more to talk about, but you don't even understand what evolution is, even after having been told like 5 times!!!
@firegod001 read the Bible, do you think that we came from monkeys? If we came from monkeys, there would have to be a cross breed, where is it? Its not like we just snapped our fingers and we changed from monkeys to humans. God made us in his image, not monkeys. Evolution is a fraud.
@theMastersHatStore Just for the record, evolution happens to be a FACT. Even IF the scientific theory used to learn how the factual thing called evolution works was a fraud, which it isn't, the fact that life forms evolve would still be a fact, no matter how many times you ignorant fools claimed otherwise.
@poppinspenguin Yes, this entire paragraph is true. Have a golden star. I don't particulary believe in a lot of things evolution tries to state, but there are things that make certain evolution obvious in the world around us. It merely worries me that evolution has been changed over 10 times majorly with many, many minor changes over history so it can continue to appear correct until someone proves it wrong.
@LittleNerdyOTAKU Of course, the right way to go is to write a book BEFORE we have any scientific knowledge at all, and never correct anything in it, no matter how many times that book is proven incorrect. OF COURSE we are going to change our knowledge about the planet! We wouldn't be being scientific if we didn't. I guess we should just magically know how things happened billions of years ago without any progression at all. Well, magic is what you're used too, isn't it?
@Obilly2226 I'm really only here to correct people's ignorance on evolution, and I only had 2 years of homeschooling, but I can say that it depends on the parent. Talk to them about making it more fun, and they may be open it. I'll cross my fingers for you.
@cheetahpup1 If you don't want there to be any kind of argument or debate, then don't come on here posting incorrect and completely idiotic nonsense about evolution not being true. Learn what evolution is, and then speak. It happens. In other words, it's a fact.
4. How does evolution disprove a creator? I mean seriously think about it.
5. Something had to create 'chance' for the universe.. the world.. to even start. Nothing can exist from nothing.
6. How does a Homeschool silly music video even start a debate for evolution and religion?? I was afraid I would come here and people would be flipping their lid taking the song too seriously.
7. The human race will never ever have all of the answers. Stop taking life so seriously.
4. It really doesn't, not generally. But ID science is not science. It's the exact opposite of science, and trying to prove or disprove that there is a god is not scientific, partially because it is not in any way falsifiable.
5. No one said that nothing can exist from nothing. And you are trying to link abiogenesis and The Big Bang Theory with the fact of evolution, and it's a very silly thing to try to do.
6. If it is silly to debate this subject here, then why do you propagate it with your list? It makes no sense. We both came here, saw the debate, and responded. Very little difference.
7.These are separate issues. Yes, we will never have all the answers, and will always try to get as many as we can. I think that's awesome. However, when half of my country believes a fact to be fiction, it is harmful and embarrassing. We are the scientific laughing stock of the world.
@firegod001 You are the first person to EVER reply to a comment I've posted or even agreed with like a sane, logical human being. *yey clap*
1. I will agree with you. There is SO MUCH religious text in all religions that has been modified or tampered with. A lot of religious texts are allegories as well, not literal. I'm no scientist and would hate to have to be one in this world, but I love trying to figure out how two things so vastly different from each other can mesh...
I really don't want to be pulled into an arguement or fuss but I just signed away my soul posting. I want to say these things.
1. Science does not disprove God and God does not disprove science.
2. Science is ever changing. We'll find out something tomorrow that makes one thing (in)valid.
3. If you look at the basic laws of physics you'll find that nothing can move without an original source. The universe couldn't come from thin air, someone had to make it.
@LittleNerdyOTAKU 1. Science does not prove that there cannot be any god, no, but it can show that some religious texts are inconsistent with scientific findings, if that religious text is taken literally. However, scientists do not go there. Science and religion don't mix well, and most real scientists prefer to keep religion and science totally separate.
2. Absolutely. So far we seem to totally agree. We'll always be learning new things, and it's beautiful.
3. This is where you go from being reasonable to acting like a clown. Sorry, but it's true. We don't know how the universe started. We don't even have a good definition for what the universe is. Is it everything, or just everything from our perspective? The scientists are working on it, and yes, some of them get overzealous and act like they KNOW when they don't, but that is totally separate from the fact of evolution. Evolution happens. We see it every single day.(CONT)
@dugganatorr And the universe couldn't have always existed according to the 2nd law of thermodynamics which states every time there is a reaction (chemical nuclear ect) some energy is lost as heat, therefore if it's always existed the universe would be a giant fireball or there wouldn't be any energy left.
@dugganatorr Where did the oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus come from? If in the beginning of the universe, there was nothing, then how can you make something out of nothing? It's impossible without someoneOUTSIDE the universe flinging it into existence. That someone is God.
@firegod001 no one really understands y we call it a relationship instead of a religion until they hear everything and experience for themselves I'm sorry that that is the way u feel about people's faith I mean no disrespect in all I say but I'm done with conversing about this I don't like how people fight over the subject it's pointless bc most people are too stubborn to listen and are narrow minded so thanks for the fun bye :)
Firegod001 I'm no better than u what are u talking about just because I talk about faith doesn't mean I'm trying to say I'm better than u I'm no better than a man/ womanim prison I am a sinner just like everyone else in the world no better and no less the only difference is I have accepted Christ as savior
@JayandAdweebanah Yeah but if you respected other people's religion as much as you want people to respect YOUR religion, you wouldn't try to elevate it in this ridiculous way by saying it's a relationship, not a religion. It IS a religion. Deal with it.
I believe in a creator and I'm a huge supporter of evolution. Religion and science are two seperate things, but you can hold both to be true at the same time.
It's not necessary to create a huge argument over someone's personal beliefs.
@KeenSceneProductions I disagree. If those personal beliefs are invading "science", where they have absolutely no business, then I will damn sure argue with them, and do whatever I can to keep that bullshit from happening. It happens all the time, and it is making us a scientific laughing stock around the whole world.
@KeenSceneProductions I know that's how you feel, and I have tons of respect for that. However, you said we shouldn't start arguments about people's beliefs, and I think those arguments are important if we are going to drag our country out of the scientific dark ages. :) But I totally agree with you about keeping science out of church and religion out of the science class.
@fireGod001 please stop using the term religion bc our faith is not a religion it's a relationship with our lord and personal savior ... And I love this video it's on my homeschool group webpage too cute haha
@JayandAdweebanah I will NOT stop calling religion religion just because SOME very arrogant, ignorant, closed-minded members of a certain religion want to put themselves above everyone else by pretending that they aren't following a religion. You follow religious stories from a religious book. What the hell are you smoking to believe that you can get away with this nonsensical tripe??
But we DO find examples of evolution all the time. You are confusing scientific theory with fact. THAT gravity happens is a fact. 100%. How it WORKS exactly is what gravity's scientific theories is for. The Theory of Evolution and evolution work exactly the same way as gravitational theory and gravity do. One is a fact, and the other is the scientific theory we try to figure out how that fact works. You need to listen to scientists instead of religionists when it comes to science. Pretty simple.
@firegod001 But we DO find examples of creation all the time. You are misunderstanding scientific theory against creation theory. The Theory of Evolution and The Theory of Creation are pretty much the same thing. There aren't 100% facts that evolution OR creation are true. There are creation-scientists, and they do the same thing other scientists do. Talk to both of them, then state your beliefs.
And if you do your reasearch effectively, you'll most likely find more facts about creation.
@Burzoidy No, you are wrong. We do know for a certainty that evolution happens, even if brainwashed people like you don't. And no, creation "scientists" do not do what "other" scientists do, because they aren't scientists! AT ALL! What they do is take a religious belief and try to find whatever they can to make that religious belief look good, and that is the exact OPPOSITE of science. The only thing that will make you see the truth is when you wake up and realize how badly brainwashed you are.
@firegod001 Try this. We can observe gravity, we can't observe monkeys growing from rocks. We have never found a missing link. EVER. Charles Darwin can up with evolution by looking at different breeds of finches. He then later said in his book that he hopes that evidence would be found. That is the opposite of science. Termites eat wood but then have small creatures in their organs that digest the wood, this is a symbiote, which one evolved first?
@GrimmThePhantom That's because monkeys don't grow from rocks, you complete dumbass, and no one ever said they do. All that is needed in order for evolution to be something that actually happens is adaptation, no matter what your idiotic leaders have brainwashed you to believe. However, we have also observed speciation many times, which is all that is needed for macroevolution.
@GrimmThePhantom No one CAME UP WITH evolution. It was discovered, just as gravity was. Both of these things are publicly observable occurrences, in order words, FACTS! Evolution is also very similar to the earth revolving around the sun, you know, that little thing that is ONLY a theory? When it became a fact, we kept the scientific theory (the theory of heliocentricity) in order to try to explain how the factual thing works, just like EVOLUTION. Get an education please.
@firegod001 You say it was discovered but you give no examples of evidence. As I have said we can observe the Earth rotating around the sun and we can observe gravity but we can't observe evolution. Therefore, it is a theory and will ALWAYS BE a theory. Missing links like Lucy, Java man, and the Nebraska man have all been frauds. You give me evidence of evolution and I can disprove it. So far all you have done is repeat 'Evolution is a fact.' and that is not going to persuade anyone.
@GrimmThePhantom First of all, I'm not doing your research for you. Are you showing me evidence that the earth revolves around the sun? No. One problem you are going to have with evidence for evolution is that you don't know what evolution is. You are getting a dishonest definition from your religious leaders. You know that adaptation happens. If you knew that adaptation was part of evolution, you'd already know that evolution happens. It's that simple. (CONT)
(CONT) You won't do the research. You've proven over and over that all you are willing to do on the subject of evolution is buy your leader's bullshit and spew it out, no matter how ignorant it is. However, if you should change your mind and do actual research, you will find that there have been MANY transitional fossils. There have only been very RARE cases of fraud within The Theory of Evolution. To say that all "missing links" found are fraud further shows your ignorance.
@firegod001 1Can you give an example of an ape to man fossil? If you have the ability to give an example I'll will disprove. 2The geological column which the time of evolution is based doesn't even exist, nowhere in the world can you find it. 3NASA, when planning to land on the moon with Armstrong noticed that dust collects on the moon due to erosion. They expected, due to the ideo of millions of years, that they would be 8 feet of dust, there was only a few inches.
Wow a lot of opinions, and everyone of you are missing the COMEDY of the video! Way too serious for a Tim Hawkins video that was not supposed to be serious. I could waste my time talking to a brick wall but I choose to sit back and laugh at a very talented comedian!
Those are just a few of the arguments, It's called irreducable complexity. According to Darwin, it's survival of the fittest, well if a fly mutated with four wings, it can't survive because it can't fly, that elimitantes the possibility of it turning into a dragonfly. If one part of the human eye was not there, we would be blind and die. It takes allot more faith to believe in evolution, than it does a Creator with intelligent design. The bottom line is that there is no solid proof of evolution.
@InsaneProjectsInc In the 2 minutes it took me to read through your comments sir, I am baffled by your leaps of logic and failure to look at and register hard facts.
Evolution exists, all around us is this beautiful world that doesn't need credit to some invisible deity in the sky. Every compound we are made up of is found throughout the universe, oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus. All of which are common.
With the mass amount of planets through the universe, all teaming with these elements, it would be foolish to say life wouldn't be able to begin to exist of its own accord.
Not some, "design".
The earth isn't perfect for life, life evolved to fit the earth. If the earth was different, life here would be.
@dugganatorr Just a thought here... I intend to be blunt, not rude.... If you were to take a recently deceased creature, a sea slug for instance, and put it in a blender, how long would we have to blend, wait, or both it to have all the compounds necessary for life reconstitute themselves into anything that could remotely be considered living. When arguing for your position please be aware of your own leaps of logic.
@dugganatorr tell me this, what is your 'logical' belief on the creation, i mean forming, of this planet? Do you really think it formed from hot gases? Or mabye you have some other theory? While its true that ADAPTION exists, how do you get a fully functioning human out of some sea plankton? Take the butterfly for example, it is impossible for evolution to put the catipillar in a state of almost death to acheive becoming a butterfly.
@dugganator- Evolution is a great and seemingly plausible theory for those who want to believe something. -ONE WHO STANDS FOR NOTHING WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING- Have fun with that thought----
@dugganator- Scientists try very hard to make evolution work, by A) Making the formation of Earth to be over 60 Billion years B) Denouncing religion, particularly Christianity, in which I am part of, and C) Creating more theorys to back up that theory, such as the multiverse theoryThe fact that you are reading this is a mere miracle. think about it, your brain is taking digital figures and translating them into the electric language of the brain.
@Spartanhoplite542 What? WHO says that the Earth is 60 billion years old? Not any scientist I've ever heard of. Most scientists believe that the UNIVERSE is much younger than that.
The vast majority of time, scientists do not denounce religion. Most of them feel (and correctly so) that religion and science simply don't mix. For one thing, falsifiability is necessary for something to be scientific, and the big daddy in the sky is not falsifiable. Got any more bullshit?
@Spartanhoplite542 Nope. Evolution happens. That's a fact. The scientific theory is there to try to help us understand how evolution works. Your confusion on this matter mostly comes from your religious leaders being intellectually dishonest enough to play a shell game with the word evolution and confuse you people beyond sanity. They want you confused. If you are allowed to reason too much, the chances of you staying in their church are a lot lower.
@Spartanhoplite542 Holy hell, you people are ignorant. If you would simply get your science from SCIENCE instead of the clergy, you would keep yourselves from looking like complete imbeciles the way you consistently do. I'm sorry I'm being so rough, but I'd be acting this way if someone came on here and tried to preach to everyone that the sun revolves around the earth. The nonsense you guys are spewing about evolution is just as stupid.
@Spartanhoplite542 As far as I'm concerned, the most reasonable answer to these types of questions is I DON'T KNOW! Why do people have such a hard time with that phrase? We don't know how old the universe is. We don't know how it started. We don't know exactly how life on earth began. We can take educated guesses, though, and in time, they will be more educated. But to expect absolute knowledge from billions of years ago is not reasonable.
So your telling me I should believe that the universe was created from nothing, that the 90 trillion cells in our body were randomly placed in the right way, that our earth just happened to be in the right spot, that we have just the right sun, there is no possible way it was random chance. The evidence for creation is all around, you just don't want to acknowledge that God exists and created everything
I guarantee you beastbucs.... You would NOT be going to college at 15 if you went to public school, the only reason why your going to college at the age 15 is because you can get away with it, because your HOME SCHOOLED!!!!!
I am home schooled and I am the youngest of four children. It is common though for home schoolers to have quite a few children. God just chose not to bless my family with more than four.
@aemcleod6 No, you just chose not to go on and make more than 4. Do you really think these people are having batches of 4 children? Humans are not dogs, cats, or pigs. Sorry for being intolerant. I'm just quite disturbed by how people in the comments section of this video have the urge to throw a religious war. It's making me nauseous. Yes, I do believe in a god. No, I do not believe that Jesus was a superhero. Don't try "saving" me, because I already saved myself by leaving.
@aemcleod6 Religions are like dicks. It's alright to have one, just don't wave them around in public and PLEASE don't try shoving them down other people's throats!
For all you people who think there is no scientific evidence of God, look at a series called TrueU: Does God Exist? There is loads of SCIENTFIC EVIDENCE of a God AND it even shows how improbalbe the Big Bang is. So stop talking about Creation vs Evolution, ok? This is about a comedian named Tim Hawkins, keep your opinions to yourself and for the love of GOD shut up pleaseeeeeeee!
@Weires24 You're going to feed us a load of nonsense that science points to a god existing, and then expect everyone involved with a science vs. religion debate to shut up? Argument solved? You've got to be joking. That's like saying that science proves the little god of love sitting on my shoulder, so I win! No need to discuss things further folks, because I've got all the answers my religious leaders brainwashed me wi- er, I mean that the goddess of love supplied me with! It's moronic.
Also there is a sponge like thing in his brain to absorb any extra blood distributed. If the giraffe wouldve evolved, the creature wouldve died every time he went to get a drink of water. Theres more to the subject but ill stop there so its not too long. Also, i had a question about evolution for you or anyone else reading. If the Law of Biogenesis says that life has to come from preexisting life, and if laws are definate, how then would evolution occur? Obviously life had to begin somewhere.
@firegod001 to answer your question, the giraffe couldnt have evolved because of its complexity particularly in the way his blood is pumped. His neck is very long, so his heart pumps very hard to get blood to his brain. Every time he bends down, his brain would explode because of all the blood rushing to his head. But, because an intelligent designer created him, he has valves that open and close along his neck to allow just the right amount of blood to be distributed to his brain.
I'm an atheist, but I also know how absurd it is to believe the government as well. I'd rather everyone was homeschooled than taught all the misinformation in public education, then told to say a pledge and be taught my bureaucrat teachers in unions. Evolution is a fact, a lot of us know this, so don't teach your kid creationism.
@Lukeor Why not teach truth? Creation is truth: evolution is a lie.If evolution was true, they would have found the 'Missing link yet' have they? *Shakes head* nope.
@Dragonmaster74123 The answer is yes. Many transitional links have been found. However, one of the many problems is that whenever one is found, you simpletons have two more "missing links" to laugh at and be completely ignorant about. You're a moron.
What I'm really wondering is how this evolution defenders ended up on this video to be honest. And why bash the 0.7 seconds of the video talking about creation, anyways? There's nothing wrong with saying "Hey, Creation is beautiful and I don't know why."
One of the top reasons for homeschooling is for our children to be brought up in a Godly and Biblical way unlike the government school system. It is rare to find an home-school family that does not have a biblical world view. How do I know you might ask??? BECAUSE I AM HOMESCHOOLED!
@bbplayerav Evolution defenders? That's not what's going on. What's going on here is a bunch of people who are so incredibly stupid that they don't understand that a factual thing like evolution is indeed factual, getting schooled by those who know it's a fact. It would be just the same way if a bunch of morons claimed that gravity didn't happen. We'd all be going, "huh? Really?" And then we'd explain things to them in a way they MIGHT be able to understand. Same exact thing.
I love love it which he did rod stewart's songs too.

@GrimmThePhantom I don't think you actually mean scientific, but it's kind of hard to respond to every one of your ridiculous assertions when at the time, you were making several per post, so I refused to respond to them. If you go back to your previous tactics, I will go back to my refusals.

*shrugs*
I'm glad I got a just and rational response.

However, if you go from a religious aspect and do research on proof of a god while understanding how each religion thinks their god shows themself, you can normally either falsify it or place a plausable on it. Normally. Sometimes. I see your point.

CottenCandy71 2 weeks ago
@CottenCandy71 Christians have a lot of basis in the Bible on how God made the Earth and it's inhabitants. Evolution that is happening now doesn't really defy God's Word. Many people, including Christians, are confused about what Christianity actually is. It's less of a religion but more of a relationship with God. The Bible is just a base to start and learn from. I do not doubt man has tampered with the Bible. You can compare Bibles and see difference in words and meanings. It's sad actually.

poppinspenguin 2 weeks ago
No, it's not. The Theory of Evolution is a scientific theory, but evolution itself is a FACT. It's just like with gravitational theory, The Theory of Heliocentricity, Cell Theory, etc. All scientific theories about a factual thing, just like evolution. You people are being taught to talk this way about evolution, because certain people know that it is a good way to make you say evolution is a fraud, even though they know that evolution happens. Why follow such dishonest leaders?

@firegod001 My 'idiotic points' as you called them are scientific. The comment you placed was addressed as a reply so I couldn't tell who it was for, post things as a reply if they are meant for a certain person. Dust collects on the moon and since NASA believes in evolution they calculated that they would be 8 feet of dust, but there was hardly an inch. There is some of my evidence, try to rebuttal it, and then give me evidence for your evolution claim.

firegod001 2 weeks ago
@firegod001 You are making claims without evidence. I'm making claims with evidence, Noah's Ark was found in a valley near Mt. Arat, did you know that? Mising links like Lucy was a chimp creature with a human knee bone, in the same area they found two human skulls. Java Man was a pig's tooth. No where in the world can the geological column be found. The archeopteryx was a bird like the Ibis or Swan, all three have claws on their wings. I have evidence, what do you have besides claims
GrimmThePhantom 2 weeks ago
@GrimmThePhantom WRONG. There are evangelicals who CLAIM that pieces of wood they found there are from The Ark. To call the so-called evidence for it dubious would be very, very kind. The evidence that evolution happens, however, is BEYOND conclusive. The evidence for human evolution (the thing you keep spewing your nonsensical talking points about is very strong. It's out there for you to very easily find. You refuse to, and then claim victory. It's absolutely pathetic.

@GrimmThePhantom No, you're not. You're spewing out nonsensical creationist talking points that have been defeated countless times many years ago. It makes no more sense now than it did then.

@firegod001 If you tried to disprove me, then you would be disproving me publically in front of people reading this and it would support theory. firegod001 1 week ago 2
(CON)
GrimmThePhantom 1 week ago
@GrimmThePhantom Well, since you didn't respond to anything I said, and simply continued with the falsehoods regarding atheism and science, I accept your offer to concede defeat to me as you promised. By the way, MANY of the most prominent evolution scientists both in the present and the past have been THEISTS, so that is another reason your atheist tripe has no leg to stand on whatsoever. REAL scientists like to keep science and religion separate, while fake scientists (like creationists)(CONT)
firegod001 1 week ago
(CONT) like to pretend that their religion is science, when in fact, it is the exact opposite of it. In regards to c14, while it is a great way to date something that is in between 400 and 40,000 years old, a scientific look at it in no way suggests a young earth. One thing your leaders weren't taking into account when they came up with that nonsense is that c14 does not enter our atmosphere in a consistent manner. Sometimes it enter much slower than it exits, and sometimes the opposite (CONT)
firegod001 1 week ago
(CONT) is true. There is no reasonable data to suggest that the levels of c14 in our atmosphere in anyway shows a starting time of earth. People versed on this subject who use the scientific method know this. Those who PRETEND to use the scientific method but never do probably know this as well, but they will continue to try their pathetic little tricks to support their religious claims for a very long time. It makes me sad, because it is a big embarrassment to our country.
firegod001 1 week ago
@firegod001 (CON) C14 has a half-life of 5,730 which means half of it decays every 5,730 years. They check C14 in a dead body & if there is half of what was originally there than it is 5,730 years old. The problem with this is the equlibrium: Eventually the amount of C14 being made by the sun will equal the amount of C14 decaying. Equalibrium would take about 30,000 years; we have not reached equalibrium so the earth is atleast 29,000 years old & carbon dating doesn't work. Give up?
GrimmThePhantom 1 week ago
@GrimmThePhantom Do I give up? Of course not. However, I have to admit that the thought has crossed my mind, reading your tripe and seeing how self-confident you are about your ignorant take on "scientific" matters, never being slightly scientific in any way, and continually and inexplicably patting yourself on the back. It's enough to make any rational, half-way informed person's head hurt.
firegod001 1 week ago 2
@firegod001 Okay, another claim. The electromagnetic field of the earth is weakening, which means more rays from the sun will enter & increase the amount of C14 in the stratosphere. In the past 150 years, there has been a 10% decrease of our elecromagnetic field. Also, two other assumptions carbon dating has are: How much C14 was in it when it died and the rate of decay has always been the same, both assumptions take place and have not been questioned. Note I'm being scientific here!
GrimmThePhantom 6 days ago
@GrimmThePhantom No, you are not being scientific. You are merely following people who CLAIM to be scientific, but are actually employing tactics that are the exact opposite of science, as I have pointed out many times already. I'm not sure what your current point about c14 is. C14 is not used to date anything older than 40,000 years old today, and is not used by real scientists to gauge the age of our planet. Care to explain with a little more clarity what you point is?
firegod001 6 days ago
@firegod001 They use C14 to claim the is older than 6,000-10,000 years old, which is false. They use other radiometric dating aswell, but also has assumptions which are not questioned. They never wonder if they know the rate of conversion from father to daughter element has been constant, or the subject was isolated so that father element cannot be added & daughter element cannot be lost. Try this: Two frozen mammoths by the colorado creek were side by side. One was carbon dated CON.

(CONT)
firegod001 6 days ago
@GrimmThePhantom (CONT) The main evidence used to discredit Piltdown Man was chemical dating that creationists reject. So much for consistency... And obviously, those people who discredited it were not creationists, but evolution scientists. And even though it took decades to fully discredit this hoax, it had nothing to do with the credibility of evolution itself, and in fact, many scientists at the time did not believe it was real at all. So much for your hoaxes discrediting anything at all.

@poppinspenguin Yes, this entire paragraph is true. Have a golden star. Pretty simple.
firegod001 3 weeks ago
@firegod001 But we DO find examples of creation all the time. You are misunderstanding scientific theory against creation theory. The Theory of Evolution and The Theory of Creation are pretty much the same thing. There aren't 100% facts that evolution OR creation are true. There are creation-scientists, and they do the same thing other scientists do. Talk to both of them, then state your beliefs.
And if you do your reasearch effectively, you'll most likely find more facts about creation.

@GrimmThePhantom That's because monkeys don't grow from rocks, you complete dumbass, and no one ever said they do. However, we have also observed speciation many times, which is all that is needed for macroevolution.
"We have never found a missing link. EVER."
WRONG. we've found many of them. Try again.

Get an education please.
firegod001 2 weeks ago
@firegod001 You say it was discovered but you give no examples of evidence. As I have said we can observe the Earth rotating around the sun and we can observe gravity but we can't observe evolution. Therefore, it is a theory and will ALWAYS BE a theory. Missing links like Lucy, Java man, and the Nebraska man have all been frauds. You give me evidence of evolution and I can disprove it. So far all you have done is repeat 'Evolution is a fact.' and that is not going to persuade anyone.
GrimmThePhantom 2 weeks ago
@GrimmThePhantom First of all, I'm not doing your research for you. Are you showing me evidence that the earth revolves around the sun? No. One problem you are going to have with evidence for evolution is that you don't know what evolution is. You are getting a dishonest definition from your religious leaders. You know that adaptation happens. If you knew that adaptation was part of evolution, you'd already know that evolution happens. It's that simple. (CONT)

Spartanhoplite542 2 weeks ago
@Spartanhoplite542 What? WHO says that the Earth is 60 billion years old? Not any scientist I've ever heard of. Most scientists believe that the UNIVERSE is much younger than that.
The vast majority of time, scientists do not denounce religion. Most of them feel (and correctly so) that religion and science simply don't mix. For one thing, falsifiability is necessary for something to be scientific, and the big daddy in the sky is not falsifiable. Got any more bullshit?

@Spartanhoplite542 As far as I'm concerned, the most reasonable answer to these types of questions is I DON'T KNOW! Why do people have such a hard time with that phrase? We don't know how old the universe is. We don't know how it started. We don't know exactly how life on earth began. We can take educated guesses, though, and in time, they will be more educated. But to expect absolute knowledge from billions of years ago is not reasonable.

Weires24 1 month ago

Obviously life had to begin somewhere.
soccerluv317 1 month ago

@Lukeor
not an athiest nor belong to any religion, and i highly agree on what you just said.

@Lukeor Why not teach truth? Creation is truth: evolution is a lie.If evolution was true, they would have found the 'Missing link yet' have they? *Shakes head* nope.

@Dragonmaster74123 Don't start. I'm not in the mood.
Lukeor 1 month ago

BECAUSE I AM HOMESCHOOLED!
aemcleod6 3 weeks ago
@bbplayerav Evolution defenders? That's not what's going on. What's going on here is a bunch of people who are so incredibly stupid that they don't understand that a factual thing like evolution is indeed factual, getting schooled by those who know it's a fact. It would be just the same way if a bunch of morons claimed that gravity didn't happen. We'd all be going, "huh? Really?" And then we'd explain things to them in a way they MIGHT be able to understand. Same exact thing.

@firegod001
I agree with you that evolution is a fact. Microevolution is a fact. Macroevolution is a theory
