@DeDaDoDu If it was on the Atari, then a lot of things would be gone.

New consoles aren't just made because of graphics, they're also made to provide better gameplay. It would be physically impossible to have even half of the furniture, neighbors, outfits, etc. that the game offers if it was on the Atari.

and B. Until Wild World was released, no 2 humans could interact together at the same time.
