Somebody needs to state the obvious: Republican policies do NOT work neither in theory nor in practice. 10yrs ago W. Bush gave the wealthy a deficit causing huge taxcut with the understanding that those increases in their wealth would create more jobs in the US. They got their taxcuts but the jobs never materialized. Mark Cuban, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett have offered to volutarily pay more taxes. Why don't they use that wealth to create jobs?
