it struck me too, after coming off a wonderful music weekend, played a gig at the legendary "Gips Place" in Birmingham, Al. I watched the Cleaner. Never had heard of it before and this song blew my mind! also, "Tell me somethin' good at the beginning....wow. mellow down.

Hey, I am going to join the crowd and confess that I too just watched The Cleaner last night and while watching the credits roll they played this song. It immediately caught my attention as an extraordinary sound and I was quite curious who was singing the number. On the credits it said Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons. I have never heard of them but I know a good song when I hear it and this is a very good song. I would put it up against most big hits for originality. Very catchy number. K.B.

In my opinion Cory Chisel is one of the best if not the best American/Folk Singer/Songwriters that have come along in a very very long time!! These guys are amazing Saw them at the Triple Door in Seattle and they were so amazing!!

I just heard this song in the movie "Cleaner" and liked it immediately. So I wanted to buy the album "Little Bird" and had to find out that it's virtually unavailable. Well, I got the "Cabin Ghots" EP intstead. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on a copy of "Little Bird" sometime, because "Gettin By" is such a memorable song.
