Thank you EVER so much for posting this!!!! I've been trying to find this, and a few other early songs, for at least 30 years!!!! This is the first time I've ever actually heard this, and I JUST missed winning it on eBay moments ago because I fell asleep waiting for it to end!!!!

@MacGrurry Denny was a long time member of wings too, just like james paul, it's because they met while on tour together, this is the picture it is from that time, Wings was formed in 1971, the pictures are still 60's this particular tune was a 1966 single, the last one composed or to feature denny laine

The Moodies with Denny was a Blues and Top 40 Band, with Justin and John, it turned into a Legend. I don't think that the original Moodies would have made it nearly as far as the Moodies with NIWS.
I really like this song and this is the first time I've heard it. It is too bad that Denny never got anything for this song. I understand that was common in those days. Not fair.
Wow, I only found this because of Pussycat's version. I like this, but that singer in pussycat is so emotive and sells the song better. But this is cool.
I'm a longtime fan of the MB, but the "Pussycat"(Holland) rendition of this song carries so much more emotion than the original, mainly due to that unbelievable beautiful voice of the leadsinger.
The original lacks the emotion the Pussycat rendition is loaded with !
Love this song

Walked this Perisien Boulevard dozens of times. Always singing this awesome song.
P.S. Same goes for Boulevard St. Michel, with Peter Sarstedt's song "Where do you go to my lovely".

The real Moody Blues was with Denny.
Justin taking over made it something QUITE different.

Genius is the right word that simply describes the MB.
If you listen, really listen to them you can hear the voice within and feel the change already begin.
