  • Just curious, how do you hold the cell still while turning the bolts? Also, what type of camera and magnification was used? A lens or microscope objective?

  • Good questions. We built a custom stage to hold the cell in place. The stage had a set screw that kept the cell from rotating. The digital camera (Olympus 3040, 3x magnification) attached to an adapter on the stereo microscope (Olympus SZ40, 4x magnification).
