  • he buscado a este gran grupo por 34 años,recien se que se llama slade

slade en vivo-de portada de su long play color rojo intenso, con las fotos de sus cantantes.por fin

  • This is Hard Rock is the guise of Glam. This is heavy as fuck.

  • Hiya Monsterpop - Please don't tell me yr losing your edge? What's all this cr*p from TheMillersTale2001 about??? Happy to say I was one of those 'young women who failed the eleven plus' - did me no harm (speaking as a very successful older woman!!). The likes of Slade, T Rex, Sweet, (dare I mention G. Gl*t**r??) mapped the lives of many of us in 70s UK. And yes, I did my own share of 'jigging around' at TOTP - the tickets were free mate! Please don't tell me you passed yr eleven plus!

  • @1960gal why would i be? ;-) naah,,eleven plus was before my time im afraid;- ) hehe

  • @1960gal What are уог talking about&

  • @intercomlawyer

    aaaah,the irony;-)

  • c'mon me babbies

  • Oi! That muslim woman is really rockin out! lol.

  • Bit o' class

  • the audienbce was a collection load of young women who failed the eleven plus jigging around in thje top of tjhe pops studio to the music of ther bneat combo called slade before no doubt going on to lead productive lives as suicide bombers, ten pin bowlling operatives, sives, that thing someone hangs my clothings out to drises outy on, reg varney

  • great band, wonderful song from my high school days.

  • now i know where the muppet show get their character Dr.teeth from... it was inspiration from this guy!

  • Was that guitarist throwing up the devil horns? Totally metal, and great vocals.

  • Greatest rock song ever. Fact.

  • @throbasonic1982 quiet riots version maybe

  • Why can't we just say we enjoy both versions?

  • who the fock is quiet riot?

  • @Kukukudu Seriously ? Are you in your twentys or younger ? Everyone knows who QR is unless they were born in the 90's lol

  • @Kukukudu yep , slade is the fucking best

  • I liek this version better than QR's.m I guess it's the guys accent.

  • slade on totp with an entourage of lovely girls who failed cse flower arranging and realised that being a smug bitch like shirley williams or margaret thatcher or yvette cooper wasn't open to them, settled for hating the political system and turned to terroism to overthrow a wretched democracy, rule by arseholes 'elected' every four or five years by morons ;

  • don't tell me, it's his pension plan

  • Both, original and cover sound great!

If an alien should ask what Rock´n´Roll was all about, Slade would be the perfect example

  • and i don't know why!!! i don't know why!!!! anymore, ooohhh noooo!

  • Saw them live in San Francisco back in the 70's . . . This is one of those guys you HAVE to hear sing live. Totally rocked more than this video.

  • 327 horrible, horrible people disliked this video.

  • they sound more like a metal beatles and Quiet Riot covered this song but still not bad for the early 70's

  • Yessssssssssssssssssss, old time, good time

  • no m gusta mola más la version de quiet riot, inkluso mola más la version de Oi the arrase "ven y eskuxa el oi" tu vida kaaaambiaaaaraaa ya no será iwal tiruriruriruiriruriiiiiiiiriruriruririruriu tu ru rirururiru ru ri tururu ru ri ru riiiii riiiii rirururu ru ru ru ri, ru ru ru riiiiii riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii rii ri ru ru ri riiii ru rirurururiruru riru ruru ru tiruriruriruiriruriiiiiiiiriruriruririruriu tu ru rirururiru ru riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii(solako del quince)

  • Guys,it's just boring...

  • @pundrovac

aye,you fuckin are, now fuck off!!

  • @Monsterpop QR better than Slade? some of you people should take your hands off your dicks before you comment. Noddy could sing the phone directory and make it rock and roll

  • @Monsterpop boring??? are you out of your mind?

  • @Hallvard69

    eh?

  • @Monsterpop Did I post to wrong person? I saw someone said it was boring...

  • @Hallvard69

    ive no idea,im confused now;-)

  • this is million times better than quiet riot's poor cover .

  • this is million times better than quiet riot's poor cover

  • I don't like it, to me, it sounds more like a Country song (I like Country, but this one isn't for me), than anything else. I would much prefer Quiet Riot's cover of the song, they made this song rock. Sorry, it's just my honest opinion, and I hope you all can respect that.

  • @Brigade35

it already rocked, for ten years. all they did was dumb it down

  • @Monsterpop If that was true, then why did it take a Heavy metal band like Quiet Riot to get it on the Top 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart on the summer of 83? And made Metal Health the first American heavy metal debut album to ever reach #1 in the USA? And explain why It was #1, making Quiet Riot the first heavy metal band to have a top 5 hit & #1 album the same week? Dumb it down you say? Hardly.

  • @Brigade35 @Brigade35

alrighty then! firstly, Slade released it ten years before, and it probably wasnt out in the USA, i have no idea. Secondly, QR didnt play the bass line, the guitar lines, the drum pattern(all more complicated than their cover version)or even the same chords. They instead, hammered out powerchords, and DUMBED IT DOWN! Whats hard to understand or accept about that?

  • @Monsterpop so,,what you are sayin is,that if QR had released one of their own, very poor, generic, derivative songs, they would STILL have had that success?> oh dear, behave yourself, and thank god for Slade, for without them,QR that you seem to love so much, wouldve had little success.

  • @Monsterpop

I wouldn't exactly call Quiet Riot's version dumbed down. They certainly rocked it a lot harder. Having said that, I'm not going to take away any credit from Slade, and I don't know how Brigade35 can say this sounds like a Country song.

  • @DTD110865

then you would be wrong mate,as dumbed WAY donw, it is;-)

  • @Brigade35 slade cum on feel the noize was a number one hit in the uk. noddy holder is a way better singer Quiet riot just covered the song, try rock an roll preacher by slade! its on youtube . slade have prob 30 or 40 hits. Quiet riot wot 2 or 3 hits an two of them was slade songs mama weer all crazy now is a slade song

  • @Brigade35 2 very funnt things in that comment... 1: Toke to 83 for an american heavy metal band to reach nr 1 in the US , 2nd calling Quiet Riot Heavy Metal :S

  • @Monsterpop as a student of all music and rock, i have to agree with monsterpop

first of all, this sounds absolutely nothing like country of any sort (old or new). second this is obviously a rock song. third, this song obviously rocks and has a better origin of rock feel (cream, mayal, ddbm&t, etc)

  • @Brigade35

u can go fuck your self

  • @Brigade35 Fuck you, shut up your fuckin' mouth

  • @Brigade35 country song?listen it again, there is nothing sounding like country...

  • @CzechSlovakSongs who said that what a dumbass

  • @CzechSlovakSongs

I agree 100%. Not even close to being a county song. If anything, it's typical 1970's Glam Rock.

  • @Brigade35 yeah...but this is the original one...without this song, it wouldn't be any quiet riot version

  • I was suprised to read this on Slade's Wik page;

"With 17 consecutive Top 20 hits and six number ones, the British Hit Singles & Albums names them as the most successful British group of the 1970s based on sales of singles."

...Hardly anyone in the States even knows about Slade. Even when I talk to people with classic rock knowledge, I find few of them know about Slade. If they do, it's just by way of Quiet Riot.

  • @jimbrown257

yep sad that they never managed to hit it big over there,as they deserved it.

  • @jimbrown257 I saw them as a kid in Liverpool in '74, a proper riot, people ripping up seats in the venue. Great working class rock n' roll– loads of great tunes. Ace!

  • @jimbrown257 Hi, Nice to know; but I am old enough to remember year 1973; This was the number one in Scandinavian! And my first cassette player ITT on this time !

  • its weird seeing Dave Hill all thin in this vid. seeing as how i often see him in our local pub here in wolverhampton and he's alot fatter now XD

  • @MHLUNA24 He sent me a t-shirt & anthology through a friend who knows him, seems nice. Was always my fave & was sorry to hear he had a stroke. If they still have jukeboxes in the pub can you play a Slade song for old times sakes? LOL

  • a Dios gracias que Quiet Riot saco su version....

  • @uraharajuan pendejo

  • thats quiet riot

  • @GhettoInnovationsDX

    dont be such a dick

  • @GhettoInnovationsDX

yep,and what i said isnt rude. as it isnt a Quiet Riot song, hence my previous comment

  • @Monsterpop well it was very rude to me and how is it that this isnt a quiet riot song i have the mental health album and that same song is in it ??????

  • @GhettoInnovationsDX

listen mate, if your too fuckin stupid to figure it out, before continuing to make an arse of yourself ,im done with you! bye bye

  • @GhettoInnovationsDX This was the original version. Quiet Riot did a re-make of it and put it on thier Metal Health album. Orignally it was more a filler song (ie made to just complete the album) and it turned out to be one of thier biggest hits. Slade was the orignal, and made it big as a British song, while Quiet Riot made it a hit in the states. Make sense?

  • @GhettoInnovationsDX How can you say it's QR when the title says who it is & when it was??? This was 1973 & I don't believe QR existed then. QR did a copy of this song & maybe another Slade song, Slade wrote it & here is their performance of it. Check your facts before arguing the toss with Slade Fans!!

  • le top de slade pour moi

  • Despite the money & fame they have earned KISS is still jealous of the ultimate glam rock band Slade.

  • Nothing like the original version.....heaps of ups to Noddy and Slade for helping in transforming rockdom .

  • "Cum On Feel the Noize" entered at the top slot in both the UK and Irish charts, which was quite a rare feat at the time and was the first occasion this had happened since The Beatles' "Get Back" in 1969. The track stayed at #1 for 4 weeks. The song went on to spend four weeks at the top of the chart in March 1973.

Upon release, the single sold 500,000 copies in only three weeks of release. As a result, the pressing factory were completely out of stock for a few days

  • Quiet Riot butchered this song.

  • classica !

  • Any person who asserts the notion that the Quiet Riot "version" is better (it was a copy, not an interpretation) is missing the obvious. Noddy's truly awesome voice, well-known to classic rock fans, is virtually unrivaled. In fact he was considered as the replacement for Bon Scott after the latter's death. Quiet Riot's only major hit was a Slade song. Slade was one of the top-selling bands in Britain during the 70s and influenced everyone in the U. S., KISS just for starters. Thus refuted.

  • love Slade my fave bands of 70s Slhey ade, Sparks, Queen ,Cockney Rebel , they were all fantastic

  • i'll be damned. never knew Riot covered it. not bad..

  • those blonde babes dancing like that so sexxxyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

  • Let's see... pussies like you wonder what it is to rock. Did you ever grow a pair of balls? It is not my fault. It is not your fault. But, if you have never picked up a guitar... I will ax you. Detroit.

  • Everybody Feel the Noise!!

  • Feel the Noise!!

  • This is one of the best songs ever!!!

And I don´t know why!!! Amazing

  • I remember getting with a group of mates and singing this in the playground with air guitars and air drums. Well we were just 10. As the years went on Slade just got better and better. Always had fun on stage and didn't take themselves too seriously unlike the drab manufactured stuff today. Perhaps that's why they lasted 30 yrs instead of 3 months.

  • What year ?

  • Oh Monsterpop, what am I like? Where have I been al these months??? Well I couldn't stop myself taking myself back to the best time of my life!! Brings tears to my eyes thinking of the innocence of it all, when life was just SOOOO easy!

Wishing you, wherever you are, a great Christmas Day. Had 3/4 bottle wine, cooked s**tloads of food, and am now going to burn and crash before the big day.

    One More Sleeps.............:D

  • @1960gal

hey, nice to hear from ye gal;-)

  • yea glam rock at its finest

  • proper rock n roll DINAMITE

  • Slade is Bau5

  • i like the quiet riot version ....but i love this version better cause look at them, they are so happy. They look like they're having so much fun......this is music =)

  • @aero0108 This isn't a 'version' it's the real McCoy! It's the original. Who the hell are Quiet Riot?

  • is it noddy holder or nobby holder? i fear i have never quite got this straightened oot in my mind. one is definitely worse than the other, but i hope it is nobby. im laffing my arse off...its maybe not anything holder at all. ah fuck it! i love him and slade anyway. ;)

  • Noddys voice is so high it is quite scary! I reckon he is up there vocally with Dan Mcafferty, Bon Scott and Brian Johnson

  • @frethouse

they are up there with HIM;-)

  • Much better! : )

  • @frethouse yo homie ck out acdc before bon scott wtf awesome

    slade rocks too

  • @frethouse When I was a kid back in the 70s, I had an already old beat up 8 track of a band named "Slade", and this song was on it. I believe this guy may be the original to sing this song. At the time I had that 8 track, I had never heard it before, I remember thinking this band is something new & it kind freaked me out.

  • @frethouse That probably explains why AC/DC invited Noddy to replace the late Bon Scott as their lead singer. Fortunately for Brian Johnson, he said no.

  • son geniales ,me gusta escucharlos ,buen cantante gran presencia en el escenario!

  • Yeah Noddy

    Keep on rockin'

  • RESPECT! feel the noize,

  • Hate the tartan, love the music.

  • @boldsirrobin

    why?

  • @Monsterpop Dunno, just can't stand tailored tartan.

  • quiet riot is a lot better

  • @1990smithers

so your ma said. now fuck off

  • @Monsterpop What a wanker you are, he was just saying his opinion - and it's true, Quiet Riot's version is 10 times better.

    So you can fuck off.

  • @Pmccaff2009

finished now? good!now FUCK OF ;-)

  • @Pmccaff2009 are you stupid? this is the original version ass hole!

  • @1990smithers dont be silly back in the early 1970s ?slade were mega and wrote most of there own stuff and could do it live

  • @1990smithers Well fuck you then

  • @1990smithers wrong

  • great songs.... a lost era. today - all that matters is your sex appeal. no wonder so many of todays kids are just shallow and pathetic. simon cowell - write something half as good as this (sad sweet dreamer, indeed).

  • he looks like he had to many slush puppies

  • Actually I should have said original Glam band, not sure why I said Glitter. Also, it might have been Newsweek Mag, not Time. Same difference, Newsweek mag once was not trash.

  • The original Glitter Band They graced the cover of Time Magazine when that magazine actually was a bit sophisticated. Popularity never took off in the US though. I think it is difficult for some today to even conceptualize what creativity is, most entertainment today is pretty processed and banal. These old bands laid the ground work for what came later. Also. A lot of good 80's and 90's bands and music, pretty worthless over the past 20 years though with a few exceptions.

  • One Of My Fovourite Songs...

  • What a great band! Love the Metal Nun!

  • I still remember when i used to cry when i didn't get ice cream, this song played in the background. Last year <3

  • slade was the best band that did this song thanks for posting this!

  • slade was the best band that did this song thx for posting this!

  • Noddy, my all time favourite vocalist!!!

  • I love this!! The Mad Hatter's got that lead singer thing going on. Strike that, reverse it...It's Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka!! We get Wiiillld, wiiiilld Wiiiillllder!!

  • So CUM ON PLAYING THE ROCK

  • this is understated as one of of the worlds best rock songs!

  • boring !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheMiko9711

    then FUCK YOU!

  • @Monsterpop AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA GREAT!

  • @lordzyx

    ;-)

  • @TheMiko9711 how the hell can u hate this band there awsome!!!!!!!!! ar u american or do u just listen to that ladyman stripper ladygaga?

  • Samy1722

Have you trid whisling Dixie? ha ha ha

  • @TheMiko9711 todays' music is boring, same hip hop crap over and over and over.

  • Only one word - LOVELY

  • @TheMiko9711 Tosser, if I went around leaving comment to bands I don't like, I'd be up 24/7. If you had been honoured to see Slade live, you would'nt be negative at all. I'm lucky enough to have seen them thrice and happy to say best live band of all time and I've seen hundreds of top band slive...I repeat TOSSER.....

  • @TheMiko9711 why the fuck u here then

    troll

  • @TheMiko9711 You don't know what music is.

  • Rad.

  • the bass line is awesome!

  • why the hell is lady ga ga even thought about in relation to this band/vid/genre?! slade kicks so much ass. favorite band....next to acdc(bon scott era)

  • It's quite funny that Dave - the guitarist always sneaked away a few minutes before the show to change his clothes to something really radical. The other members including the manager Chas Chandler were often as surprised as the audience by his clothes.

    Rock on Dave Hill!

  • Ah I love this song.... reminds me of memories past when good music was still available en masse.... Apparantly there's a Facebook campaign to get 'Merry Xmas Everybody' to number 1. Great idea, an actual song about Xmas for number Xmas no. 1! Who would have thought?! Especially nowadays with all this chart poo. SLADE FOR XMAS NO.1!!

  • @ antdigger... pull your head out of the sand! Slade did this song LONG before Quiet Riot did! Quiet Riot COVERED this song AND Mama Weer All Crazee Now off of SLADE!!!

  • the main riff used for depeche modes "personal jesus" was first in this song

  • @LaughingatpainUSAway

    hmm,i cant hear it myself!

  • PROSLADE is this stand for ARSEHOLE ???

  • @GTCrunch Thats the spirit lad \m/

    ...whos Lady Ga Ga ?

    ha ha ha !!!

  • I like your hat. Thumbs up for family guy reference

  • These guys ripped off Quiet Riot.

  • @antdigger

and youve ripped off a few braincells from a rock!

  • @antdigger Actually I heard that these guys did the song first. So Quiet Riot covered this song.

  • @antdigger - These guys WROTE the song in 1973. Quiet Riot covered it 10 years later.

  • @antdigger Are you challenged? Learn your history. Slade produced this song in 1973. Quiet Riot did a cover of this song in 1983. So yes, you can feel like an idiot now.

  • @antdigger Actually it's Vice Versa

  • @GoweExile

    eh?

  • @antdigger hahaha Slade wrote it. Quiet Riot ripped off Slade. Quiet Riot also ripped off Slade's "Mamma Weer All Crazee Now". LoL

  • Brilliant

  • Brilliant.

  • Willy Wonka on vocal

  • @TheRcdon

that is the single most boring thing anyone comments on here. oh dear!

  • @TheRcdon so everyone with hat like him is Willy Wonka, nice conclusions you make there

  • Yeah I feel the noise nobby! whats he called again? i wish it was nobby! is it noddy?wheres big ears? im gonna shut the fuck up now.

  • What memories these guys bring me so darn good. I saw them at the Hollywood Paladium in 1974 and they were the headliner over James Gang with Joe Walsh , Brownsville Station-Smokin in boys room and a new band called Lynard Skynard. Great then on my 8 track and it still sounds great today. LONG LIVE SLADE.

  • michael cain sings like hell

  • @Malatrova

    eh?

  • @Monsterpop sorry ,,i mean , Sir Michael Caine
