Cant seem to do any of his combos..timing seems so random when im pressing my buttons for his basic EX MCHB combos. I came from MK where you can buffer everything in...this system takes alot of time to get used too.

@Meloveyou1238 Yea you just gotta time the link such that you hit the cr.roundhouse right as the cr.jab is recovering. Just give it some practice it'll become second nature after a while, trust me.

LOL ME 2. i came from mk to this, and i was thinking exacly the same thing before i read your comment.

i think its because im not used to using the analog in a fighting, i use the D-PAD

After you do the "EX MGB" you did a "DUCK UPPER"

My question; do you use MK for that? or is it possible to use HK (more dmg) or is it too slow to link?

Cause I tried to link the EX MGB with a DU (HK) didnt work, did it with LK and MK though. Now i just dont know wether its my skill that makes me fail (new player) or the possibilities of Dudley.

What do you do vs charge characters that spam low heavy kicks when you try to get in?

Machine gun whiffs, duck doesn't help, and the range on his overhead is always shorter than the sweep kick. If they ball up I can never get in.

@Holysoldier000 that's a tough one. I have a hard time with Bison, Chun and Sakura because of the turtling factor. What I would suggest is to be patient and move in slowly. you might take a few hits but keep inching in and try to anticipate and absorb a heavy attack via focus then quickly let it go for a crumple. If your opponent just doesn't want to move, throw a rose at them. I have found that to be effective.

if you use an xbox 360 controller and cant execute the standing Hk into ex MGB. a good method is to hold back when peforming stand(HK) then move round n forward in ex mgb

I find it easier to link 2 c.lp > s.hk than to do c.lk > c.lp > s.hk.

Also s.lp > s.mp > s.mk > jet upper combo does huge dmg and can be started with an airborne hk.

@thr3d3er once you block the headbutt, just mash out the rolling thunder, and you'll get the reversal and get it to hit. I main Dudley, so go to training and make honda headbutt all day and practice hitting him with rolling thunder.

What are the advantages of using mk ssb over hk ssb after a blocked lp mgb? Only advantage I could think of is it's 3 frames faster. hk ssb does 20 more damage than mk.

@SadisticSamurai Yes. It is terrible on hit even worse on whiff. Requires decent setup to even be safe.

Better off using it once in a blue moon... if not never.
