My wife and I saw George in Jersey in 2010. I'm a guitar player and always preferred GB playing vs singing. But let me tell you in person (as I saw him in '86) he's really got it all - his singing voice is amazing, the songs come across so much more when you are there in person - his persona really shines. I'm 4 or 5 years younger and I am amazed at all the energy this guy has. Thank You Mr. Benson for all your great shows and tunes.

Back in the 70's and 80's George Benson had massive appeal and was the king!. Not only was he an extremly handsome (I'm 100% straight too), Extremly talented vocalist, extremely talented guitarist, he also had so much persona and charisma. Yes some diminishes as we all get older but that's life and he's still full of life too.
